Sometimes when we get language barriers they resolve it.and teachers in lab is so active they help each and every student to get clarity over things.
The college should provide scholarships on basis of student's skills because most of the students come from middle class family and it would be very helpful and motivating for them if college does so.
Placement scenerio of it department is about 80% percent on campus.lots of mass hiring companies visited our college like tcs, cognizant, accenture and lti.so they hire approx 60 students so placement is pretty good.

Dislikes

Fees structure i don't like as it is too high to pay and also very different fees structure is oresent here different from all other colleges
College campus is small and no tennis court no cricket ground no football ground
I am still a student in 1st year, so there is no placement this year, but the placement stats for branches other than cse is poor.

Overall NSEC is good..!!!

Likes

The faculty and the coding culture . The sports annual events and specially the robotics event.
The avenir event consist of coding, robowars, robocarrom, robosoccer, online gaming competition etc.

Dislikes

Sports ground is too small and the maintenance is very bad , the cricket nets is also not proper.
The campus size is very small and campus size is upto 3 acres only and many classes does not constist ACs .

The placements are upto the mark and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum and students also get intership here . Most of the students get hired by IT companies like Infosys, congnizant and TCS , BYJULS, PWC etc

Review on nsec all u need to know

Likes

Academically college is good and provide with all necessary knowledge.
Budget friendly and has same output as many expensive college.
Placement ratio is also good. In the end it all depends on you.

Dislikes

It is compromised with its location I would say.
The campus area is not do big as u expect it to be
No hostel facilities so u have to live in pg .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think they need to update thre course a bit and should bring more coding languages in first year....I feel makaut is little behind in this. Overall it's okay....but I think there need to be made a few changes

Brief Review of NSEC

Likes

Placement are good enough if you are hard working students.
Faculty teachers are good enough to teach , if we focus on class then no need to study from anywhere else.
Events are taking place every month , which makes college life enjoyable .

Dislikes

There is no Hostel in college , we had to stay outside by staying in PG/Mess
There is no such big playground in college .
There is no such big canteen in college , & there is no such great variety of food.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semester students are eligible for campus placementd . Many companies recruit students from our college Like TCS,Amazon , Google , Flipkart , Cognizant,etc. TCS makes offer of 5-8lpa averagely. Highest package is 32lpa by TCS 50% students are placed in on-campus. My plan is getting placement from my college after getting degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The placement from IT department is quite good. From the seniors I came to know that IT department is very good in NSEC. 4 unit test are held between one semester exams. There need some improvement in computer labs. Because all the monitors and keyboard are not working properly.

Environment of Netaji Subhash Engineering College.

Likes

Faculty members are well qualified and solves doubts.
Labs are very good. Computers are updated.

Dislikes

Library doesn't contain many books. Lacks books of some subjects.

Placement Experience:

They provide 90% placement for each department. After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Various companies visit starting from accenture, Walmart, cognizant, TCS, and many more. Salary package starts from 4LPA and end to 12LPA average. Highest package was 60LPA in previous year. Some students plans to do Masters after the completion of the degree.

my college has very good and experienced faculty .the teachers are friendly and they even assists us in our queries outside out course which is very helpful during placements.apart from these the infrastructure is also up to the mark with garden ,etc
the infrasturcture of our college isvery good .we have airconditioned classrooms as well as they are big and airy .we also have a garden, common room,library ,reading room and canteen.we even have a cafe area for students to sit and relax.
the placement of our college is very good.cognizant and tcs are the top recruiters .apart from that microsoft,wipro are also the recruiters .highest package package offered was 30 lpa and average package was 7-8 lpa.

Dislikes

some of the rooms are not air conditioned which creates problems during attending class in summer.also the cafe area has some internet issues and internet do not work properly therewhich is a major problem if we are compelled to sit for long hours.
though our teaching faculty is very good but some professors are very strict and they compel students to attend their regular classes which hamper the self study of those students who have to travel a long joueney to come to attend classes.
apart from these we do not have hostel facility of our college so the students who come from very far are compelled to rent private pgs and mess for living which is a problem

Placement Experience:

though our college do not have internship programs but it encourages students to avail these programs off campus.but ur college has on campus placement opportunities and students manage to find a stable job for themselves from companies like cognizant , tcs,wipro,etc from college.the professors also assist in off campus selection. so overall job and career opportunities are very secure and wide for students of nsec with an average package of 7-8lpa and highest of about 30lpa.

There is a good environment and very helpful teacher.They always help and motivate us to archive our dreams.College faculty is so good.College campus also so good.

Collage campus is so short.Placement is now not so good

Labs are good and teachers are very helpful

Dislikes

Only thing I dislike in my college is campus , NSEC have very short campus

Placement Experience:

7th semester TCS Highest pakage given by the company is 12 lakh and the lowest is 5 lakh For appearing in placement we have to get at least 7 cgpa but for good package we have to maintain 8 cgpa My plans after getting the degree is to go for further degrees like m.tech

A brief of NSEC

Likes

The college has good buildings. It is good designed and made very nice
Even having a college uniform it is not mandatory to wear it everyday
It has good clubs like GDSC, photography club, sports club etc

Dislikes

College campus is not that big. There are only buildings. Although it has space to make
College is situated in outside of Kolkata in a village like area which is not very safe at night
Language barrier. If you are a non bengali then you would face some difficulty

Placement Experience:

It has decent placement. Mostly the package comes from CSE and ECE branch. It's average package is around 6 lakhs and highest gone to 24 lakhs offcampus. You could get decent package if you get skilled

College life in NSEC Kolkata

Likes

Engaging professors who were passionate about their subjects and accessible for guidance were invaluable. The supportive community of peers fostered lifelong friendships and collaboration. The well-equipped facilities and resources enhanced learning
College was awesome! I loved the lively campus atmosphere, cool professors, and making great friends. The campus facilities were top-notch, making studying and hanging out super fun. Plus, there were tons of opportunities to explore interest

Dislikes

Lack of playground in main campus of college, we have to go for a distance for playground
There are many non AC class , lack of accessibility and more

From the 7th semester, the student's became eligible for the placement and there are numerous of companies visited the college campus some of them are tcs, cognizant, Accenture,etc . Almost 90percent of students getting placed
