Likes

Good quality of teachers:- mostly professors are excellent in their respective fields and have great subject knowledge.
It was amazing and great to be witnessed and roam around and live the college life as beautifully as shown in movies and all.
I know this is a very big amount but it is good for your future this college makes efforts to make you good for top mncs the scholarship is good they provide scholarships and even i got my scholarship

Dislikes

Some of the rules are so bad in this college like for hostel related
The fee structure of my college is very high which may be unappropriate for people this college is prohibited for poor the scholarship is hard to get.
You can not stay in hostel during college hours this most bad thing here

Life At Psit

Likes

I like the labs of PSIT Kanpur as they are very well furnished with proper arrangement of seats and good systems
The washrooms are neat and clean with a good and neat canteen
I like the teachers as they are very helpful and beautiful

Dislikes

I a bit dislike the strict and digit attendance system of the college
I do not like the librarian as they are very rude and strict
I do not like the mother who roam around me

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of its good placement and as CS branches of B. Tech are quite popular these days and with a specialization in AIML. All the faculty members are highly qualified with doctorate degree in their respective fields. Exams take place every three months for CT examinations and every month for assignment examinations.

One of the Most honest review of psit by a new student who researched a lot before taking admission in this college

Likes

Infrastructure, placement record, strictness in attendance and helping teachers
Greenery is their, you get food 3 to 4 times a day
Active clubs and events conducted by college for students to engage themselves in other activities also

Dislikes

Lot of strictness in the college, u cannot take a lot of holidays from college
Too many fines, if u get caught doing something against the guidelines of the college they will fine you
In hostel rooms you cannot cook anything, neither u can take any electrical appliances with you in the hostel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BTech CSE as btech is the most trusted and challenging course you can pursue to test yourself and the computer science branch in BTech is very important nowadays as everything works on technology and technology is the future, where I was admitted at PSIT, CSE faculties are good most of them have done MTech and PhDs, so they are well educated and can shape you good for your career as well as for our placements.

Likes

Very helpful faculty members and always supporting the students
Higher placement packages. Least possible package is sufficient for a student.
There are several on going events in the college premises.

Dislikes

Attendance criteria which is 95% is way too much.
Events which are held in the campus, the gap between them is too much.
Strictness level is high inside the campus.

I want to become a Manager in top MNCs so i adopted this course. There is having 50:1 ratio means per 50 students there is having one teacher. Oualification of teacher is PhD. Tere is having 2 CTS 4 assignment and one pre university exam in each semester.

Likes

Faculty members are supporting and they explain or elaborate things very well.
Lastly, the teaching training part during the lectures are helpful for us.
The infrastructure is way to cool with 4 canteens inside the campus.

Dislikes

The college hours are excessively long and demanding, placing a significant burden on students' time and well-being.
The fines imposed by this college are exorbitant, causing financial strain on students.

I liked the cafe of PSIT which is good for hangout.

Dislikes

Faculty, Support from higher authorities
A lot of fine imposed on students unnecessarily
Minimum Attendance percentage is very high.

Placement Experience:

In the 7 semesters, the student is eligible for campus placement. Companies like Accenture, Infosys, and TCS have visited and made a large number of offers. A student from the 2023 batch got the highest package of 48 lakh from a security firm in Dubai which is the highest till date of our college. Around 45 % of students get placed on campus.

The truth of my college

Likes

I like infrastructure, greenery and the atmosphere of college
I like hostel facilities provided by the college, hostel is very clean
I like weekend holidays in my college, sports and cafe

Course Curriculum Overview:

As you know if you are doing engineering then you have a very broad course and if faculty members do not teach very well then it creates a lot of problems well in my college faculty are good some have a very big experience of teaching but some have a not idea how to teach. If I discuss about ratio then according to me it is 40:60.

PSIT - to be or not to be?

Likes

The infrastructure of the campus is very good.
The library is a key highlight of this college.
The seniors are very friendly towards the new comers and they help us in many ways.

Dislikes

The food quality of the mess should be improved.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible from 3rd year itself whereas 2nd year students can get internships for themselves. Many companies have visited the college viz Infosys, Deloitte, TCS, etc. The highest package bagged is 50 lacs which was an off-campus placement. The percentage of students getting placed is around 70 to 75 percent. My plan after getting the degree is to find a good job that give me a stable career and future.

Psit admission process

Likes

The infrastructure is very good and takes good care of hygiene.
The faculties are very supportive and most of the faculties are PhD scholar.

Dislikes

The hard collage schedule timings and the management of curriculum lectures.
The collage applies a heavy fine on late fee submission and on indispensable fine.

PSIT A college to be known for it's Discipline.

Likes

Infrastructure is quite good with eco-friendly environment
Supporting faulty helps student to clear their doubts at any time.

Dislikes

Timings of College is 9 to 5 which is not really appreciable by students..
Fees is quite high as from a lower middle class student its not appropriate.

The students from the fifth semester are eligible for the placement and most of the students will get placements in multi-national companies. The highest package is 50 lakh per annum. My plan after my degree is to take job.
