PSIT Kanpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students from the 6th semester are eligible for the in campus placements. Many companies recruit students from here including big IT companies like Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Reliance, etc. The highest package offered is around 12 LPA and the average package is around 3.5 LPA. About 60 percent of students get placed here. My plan is to pursue higher education after completing B.Tech.

From the sixth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Top MNC's like Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, TechMahindra, Cognizant, Walmart Global, Wipro, Justdial visit for campus placement with 3.2LPA to 26LPA. More than 90% of students are placed every year. For this training is started from first year onwards.

I wanted to get into the IT field and also had a bias for programming that's why I found this particular course suitable for me. PSIT has one of the best infrastructures. All the facilities here are available hand to hand for the students. Also, the hostels are relatively clean and the mess food is very hygienic. Academics The faculty well -qualified and are very much supportive. The curriculum is always up to date. Apart from this English and PSA trainings are also organized for the students from the first year. Since this is a 4-year course, so per year, we have two midterm exams that are conducted around June and December every year. The paper pattern is totally based on what is taught us during the classroom lectures. And any student going through the content provided in college thoroughly can easily score decent marks in the exams. The difficulty level of the exams conducted is not very much.

PSIT offers the best placements. In 2020, it has recorded more than 1500 selections. The average package here is 3.5LPA and the highest package is 26LPA. The pieces of training are top-notch and industry-based to help in maximum placements.

Placements of PSIT are very good as compared to all AKTU colleges. Around 90-100 companies visit every year including Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc Recently in the years, 2019-2020, around 400+ placement offers are from Infosys only and around 1000+ placement offers in a single day of placement drive. Placement in CSE dept is around 90%,avg package is 4 LPA and highest package is 10 LPA.

Lots of training classes are provided from various groups to learn new technologies and gain lots of experience and learn how works are done in "IT" Companies from second year onwards. The highest package offered in a technical field is around 22lpa and the average package offered is between 3-4.5 LPA.

Students become eligible to sit in placement drive from the 6th sem. The college has dedicated training programs to prepare the students for tests of different companies. We got training for aptitude, programming, dsa mcq, DBMS, etc which helped us to crack various exams.
