PSIT Kanpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement criteria are very good at all. Last year in 4 days 4 companies grab 900+ students and not in a small company in a reputed company. The placement part is good 90%+ placement is done last year which is very good at this level.

The placements of this college are good. A major chunk of students is placed with good packages. Personally, I want to do my masters after gaining some experience in the real world. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini come to the campus every year and provide employment.

Pranveer Singh institute of technology, Kanpur is one of the most recognized colleges in UP therefore I chose the BTech computer science, data science course. Data science is a highly lucrative career option therefore I chose to explore this course. The faculty are very knowledgeable and supportive as well as an idea of the project is welcome anytime. During this pandemic situation with so much syllabus to cover they are giving their best

If we talk about placements of PSIT, many reputed companies like Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro, etc visit every year for the selection of students. And the preparation for the placements for students starts from the first semester by providing various training. The highest package is 26 Lpa and the average salary is 3.6 lpa- 8lpa.

In PSIT upto 85% of student got placed. And others have their own business or etc. The highest package is 27 lakh per annum. Lowest is 3.6 lakh per annum. In the previous year, more than 350+ student got placed. Many companies like Amazon, Infosys, TCS, WIPRO, Capgemini Byjus etc, comes to give jobs.

One is which beats all the factors is the transparency in placement records. My whole section was placed nearly in the 7th semester. Not even with a single but multiple placement offers. I joined Infosys after college completion. I got on campus placement at Infosys with a package of 3.6 LPA.

The lowest package was around 3.5 lakh per annum. PSIT is value for money because if you get cs aur its branch then the placement percentage of the college is above 90 % for cs and it with an average package of around 4 lakh annum. Students are eligible for placements in their 6 semesters and onwards. Companies like Infosys, tcs and Capgemini are the mass recruiters. Wipro is also visiting and recruiting students nowadays. Many students are cracking off-campus placements also and that too with high CTC's. My plans are to get placed in a product-based company and I believe that my college will help me in doing so.

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 7th semester. The key companies that hire from PSIT are Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, L&T, Wipro for job profiles like data analyst, IT consultant, Cyber Security consultant, big data engineer, software developer etc. The average salary is 6 lac per year, highest salary 26 lac per year. Generally, above 90% of the batch gets placed per year. The college invites alumni for seminar and guidance, we also get a chance to connect with them over projects, internship projects and LinkedIn.

Students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester, many reputed companies visit our college like Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Hexaware, Pitney Bowes and many more. The average package that a student gets from the on-campus placement is 3.5 LPA and the highest can be to 10 LPA and more than that as well.

Psitians got placements from top MNCs which includes Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, IBM etc. The average package is 3.8 lakhs per annum. 98% of students get placed every year. From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements.
