Clarity

Likes

The faculties in the institution is well qualified and are student friendly. Approaching teachers for clarifying our doubts is always easier. The libraries are open till late night for students benefit.
the college conducts timely student council meetings to hear the queries and resolve on time. Many extra curricular activities are conducted to enhace us overall
there are always activities conducted for students to enhance their learning, interactive skills, team work abilities. For instance many internal hackathons are conduct to extract the intelligent skilled sudents among the crowd.

Dislikes

the blocks are placed liltle far away like the civil building is far away from the main admin block.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are decent and better. Few students get really placed well like a student last yr got placed for 55 lakh CTC from the mechanical branch. At the end of the its the skills that you develop. Students eventually have to utilize the opportunities.

I choosed civil engineering because I was keen to learn about building construction, railway construction, metro construction, foundations etc. With these now I have confidence to explore my skills in the field of civil engineering.

My Life in RNSIT

Likes

The campus is very vast. And as a student for 4 years I liked roaming in and around the campus.
Especially as a Civil Engineering Student I really liked the land provided in the college and they allowed us to use it ourselves.
I especially liked survey camp project which was held in between 5th and 6th semester where we surveyed the entire college and made drawings using autoCAD

Dislikes

There are few things I disliked about the college. I did not the placement department

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although the course curriculum is not upto date, we can many basics things about the subject. The Labs are well equipped and is up to codal standards. Although I can say that present students have updated curriculum and can be better. We were unlucky as we were the COVID batch.

RNSIT- a memorable journey

Likes

Teachers are very friendly and they clarify all our doubts without any hesitation.
The environment of RNSIT gives us a positive vibes
Apart from studies RNSIT alsoo encourage students to participate in extra co curriculum activities

Dislikes

Labs and equipment are not neetly maintained
Sometimes partiality between toppers and low scoreres

Regarding the course curriculum all the topics taught by our teachers are very effective and clear .This type of topics help us to learn concepts practically and theoretically which helps us to indulge those topics in our future

Facilities and amenities provided by the college are good
Sports and cultural activities are often conducted
Faculties are well trained, and their knowledge about the subject is excellent

Dislikes

Metro station is around 3 kms from the college
There is a lot of traffic while travelling to college and back home

Placement Experience:

In our college people become eligible from 6th semester for the placement. RNS infrastructure and many more companies were present for the placements. There was an average of 4-5 lakhs offered by each companies.There is 70-80% chance of getting placement.I plan on doing higher studies after my degree.

excellent environment, supportive teaching and non teaching faculty
large vast area with adequate facilities
infrastructure is brilliant with proper amenities

Dislikes

nearest metro station is more than 4kms away

Placement Experience:

placement traning starts at 6th sem and we are guided on taking up interviews and technical rounds. apptitute skills and other skills are developed. this year the highest package was about 15lakhs and the average package is about 4 lakhs. since i will be doing my masters placements werent a consideration for me

My review about RNSIT

Likes

I mostly like the vast campus and the infrastructure
The college has well equipped labs and the faculty members are approachable and friendly
The placement records are the best compared to all the tier 2 colleges in Bangalore

Dislikes

It is a VTU affiliated college but it is going to attain autonomous status from 2024
Mostly I don't like is that there's no proper playground in the campus
The vtu syllabus is bit outdated as compared to autonomous college syllabus

Placement Experience:

As I am currently in 2nd year I can't say anything about this but for previous years our college bagged a huge package of 58 lpa and the median package is also quite impressive and the college helps us through the placement process.

A truth about the college

Likes

The teaching staffs are very supportive related to academics.They would be available to clarify doubts.
The resources like books are available in library. The library remains open till 11 at night.

Dislikes

Could have use the left over area to make campus good looking and green.
Constructions work are going around in the campus.
Sports facilities are really not very good as compared to others.

Placement Experience:

In this recession period a bunch of good companies have also visited for campus selection. The highest package offered was 26lpa CTC. Till now 50% students have been placed in a company. Thus the average comes down to 5.5lpa .

RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT) is a good engineering college in Bangalore. The campus is clean and well maintained. I’m currently pursuing MCA at RNSIT. The college has good infrastructure, experienced faculty, and supportive staff. The teaching is practical and industry-focused. The campus is clean and peaceful. Placement support is decent, with many IT companies visiting. Events, workshops, and coding activities help us grow our skills. Overall, it’s a good college for MCA students.
