Review about RNSIT,BANGALORE

Likes

Social clubs are the heart of the college.
Technical seminars are also very inspiring.
Project and idea expo to showcase once innovations.

Dislikes

College hours are a bit lenghty to sit through.
A tight attendence requirement of 85 percent.
Mess food as always could be better in my opinion.

Placement Experience:

Placements usually starts in the pre final year for students were the have a dedicated team for placemt training.Companies that visits them are also big MNCs with few product based companies with specific requirements.Due to covid,there was a boom of hiring in our campus but as recession kicked in it has been difficult for all the colleges all over India to get more students to be hired.So placement scenario is somewhat manageable.

Navigating campus life

Likes

I liked the study materials provided for the exams
The teaching staff is friendly form ise department
The course is very interesting and can find some good friends

Dislikes

I didn't not like the college timings.it is from 8:40-4:40
The college infrastructure is average. Although they are developing the college campus, the work is at very slow pace
The final exams are very tough and the correction is very strict

I am still in first semester so I am not eligible for placement purpose But I guess most of the students get placed from computer science department if you try to maintain a cgpa over 7 Also try to develop the skills

The teachers are highly qualified. So that's a plus
There are many technical clubs in college
Teachers are friendly and will guide you in the right way

Dislikes

Very limited sports activities, only one sports event every year
Very limited non technical activities, more technical based
Placements took a decline recently and that makes us scared

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester they become eligible There were over 1800 offers made last year Highest package last year was from CRED for 54lakhs pa Upwards of 80 percent get placed Im planning on working for few years and then doing masters

Likes

The vast college size 140 acres of college
The green trees and grass and the lovely dogs
The library and the auditorium and canteen

Dislikes

The college timings which is 8:40 to 4:40 which is hectic
The outdated campus and the worn out building
The ground which is just mud and construction sites

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is quite good as it's from the VTU which belong to the state government. The syllabus is easier and easy to learn. The exams are moderate and there are 3 internal exams in a semester and an external exam

Ambience is good which feels like a best feels
Education system is good where they show mercy to students
My collage life with rns is good enough to enjoy

Dislikes

Canteen food i dont like it cause when ever it i fall sick
The treat us like 10 students like children
They are bit strict with us which annoy us

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's good and the teaching method are understandable and for full people there are bit more opportunity which is good thing I think the whole process is convenient , but I don't like the marks of 50% PUc is taken while giving the result

Good and discipline college and best college ever

I like the college surrounding and faculty I really like it.
I like the infrastructure about the college and canteen.
It is very good college for 💯 placement and good college.

Dislikes

About the hostel fees it is more.but over all it is nice and good.
There is no dislike about the college they will provide discipline
Really there is no dislike about the college it is a very good college

Placement Experience:

Yes they will provide 100 percent placements in our college.They will provide 100 percent sure job for every one This is our college a very disciplined college I am proudly saying about it.The professor in our college they will provide knowledge of coding it is bit important in our engineering life .

A Gist Of Insights About My College

Likes

There is separate area for sports like badminton court, basketball court, cricket and football ground is there.
Amphitheatre of the college is very appealing and small artificial fish pond is also there.
Campus is huge and several developments can take place.

Dislikes

Closing time of college gate is 8:30pm which is very early.
Closing time of library is 11:00 pm which should be increased so that hostellites can access
85% attendance is very much and college doesn't give long holiday breaks after semester ends.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is kind of up to the mark. Muktiple progamming languages are taught in two to three semesters.I don't think so they should teach physics and chemistry for one semester but they do so. Three internals are conducted every consecutive month before semester end exams. There are marks for assignments, lab practical, lab record, datasheets. Teachers should make use of smart boards in place of regular chalk and boards.

Likes

Teachers behaviour and knowledge they are very humble they clarifying all our doubts. Students feel free there teachers take of students very well
Cultural activities like algorithm which a music jam it's really fun . All the students enjoy very much . Also programs like ethnic day are really fun

Dislikes

Hostel facilities their is no washing machine students have to wash their own clothes
Fashion team they are really mean everybody hates them never join fashion team it's really weird

Placement Experience:

I'm still in 1st year so I can't say much about this but college claims 100% placements . All the highest paid packages like Adobe and Amazon the students got it through off campus but the avg package is 10 lakhs

Environment of the college is very decent
Placement are very decent. I would say not bad placements

About the fees it's too much for the COMEDK students

Placement are decent in this college. 80 to 90 Percentage of students getting placements Many companies visit here Highest 56 lakh Avg 6 lakh Maximum placements are from CSE , ISE , ECE ,AIML About my plan than I have not decided yet will see after degree

I’m currently pursuing MCA at RNSIT. The college has good infrastructure, experienced faculty, and supportive staff. The teaching is practical and industry-focused. The campus is clean and peaceful. Placement support is decent, with many IT companies visiting. Events, workshops, and coding activities help us grow our skills. Overall, it’s a good college for MCA students.
