SIT Tumkur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Needs a lot of improvement in the domain of practical applications. Although we had several mini projects, self motivated projects should encouraged as a part curriculum.

Common Entrance Test (CET). Don't remember my rank though as that is too much of an ask. I opted for SIT as based on my rank this was the best college I could have got into. In 2001 SIT was ranked 5th in private collages Karnataka.

I have given COMEDK exam, i choosed this exam because this exam is a gateway to study in Karnataka college's. As Bangalore is it hub that why i choosed sit which is situated near Bangalore and one of the famous college of Karnataka having 100% placement.

I took COMEDK, I scored near about 75% in this competitive exam and got selected, placement record is good that's why I opt for this college.

I took Karnataka diploma CET. I got ranking of 1070. Actually I was from diploma background where I completed my diploma in computer science only. So that I was avial of computer science and information science beaches over both of these departments i took the computer science and engineering.

Karnataka CET and I got a rank of 17,000. I got IEM branch in SIT which was one of the 3 available branches in SIT (Civil, Chemical & IEM).

I would like to say that i was for tuned to have studied in this college and made many good friends. Learnt time management and money management better being in college hostel.

CET - Commom Entrance Test SIT (Siddaganga Institute of Technology- Tumkur) is one of the top college in KarnatakaI studied. My 12th class and Diploma in this institution only So I continued and eager to joined and studied in SIT.

Karnataka CET, i scored a rank of 2415. I had an option of IS in RVCE, but one of my senior preferred CS over IS and the college i had was SIT, Tumkur which ranked 7th during my KCET.

College management is good and giving full support to students and faculty for college improvements.
