The college follows the standard CAP round admission process overseen by DTE, starting with document verification at a nearby ARC center. Candidates can choose up to 30 colleges, and this college was assigned to a candidate in the 2nd CAP round. The faculty is experienced and dedicated to teaching, although there are issues with salary payments, leading to some staff departures. There is some discord between existing faculty and the new Head of Department.
Academically, each semester includes two exams: an In-Sem exam by the college and an End-Sem exam by the university. Placement opportunities vary by department; the Mechanical department saw only 3 companies participating, with 20 out of 120 students placed. In contrast, the IT and Computer departments had better outcomes, with around 50% of students securing jobs. The college does not offer internships. Financial support is available, including the Maharashtra government's E-scholarship, covering 42,000 INR for first-year OBC students, reducing their fee from 62,300 INR.
Additional scholarships are offered for other categories. The college provides a loan facility and has a large, well-maintained campus, kind teaching staff, hostel and mess facilities, and a 24-hour free library.
