YCCE Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements of this college is quite above average in this time of recession too. Only the people who lacked skills are not placed rest the right candidates who worked hard got placements pretty fast. The college is still trying for the onces unplaced to get them job even after them graduating. So it is safe to say college takes all efforts to get students placed.

The college was once popular for their mechanical engineering even compared with NIT Nagpur. It was one of the reason for me to take admission in Mechanical engineering. The faculty should take more time to complete syllabus, they usually teach fast when the deadline is near.

From 7 semester the students are allowed to sit in placements The companies like TCs And capegeminis is common for mass recruitment and new companies like Accenture also visisted And total 200+ offers were made in placements Highest package this year was 21 lakhs in IT sector and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% students get placed. I am going to do business after graduation as i dont trust college as it would give me placement

Yes the college have a good training and placement cell which provides the placement. The placement for civil engineering is far less than the placement for other departments but still 3 to 4 companies like Lnt ,Tata ,etc is provided through our college.

In the 7th sem, students becomes eligible for placements. The college directly lists students according to their eligibility that where they can easily be fit candidate for the company and try to work on that way. Before getting eligible, college provides a one month course as "Campus Recruitment Training" where they teach us everything about how to approach companies and pass their tests and clear interview rounds including group discussion round.

The training and placement cell is very active. The college starts prepareing for the campus from the 1st year itself, the college have programe called ycap which get divided into two category technical and apptitude sessions , these are regular classes in the timetable, the technical session help develops the coding skills and apptitude helps develope logical skills

The electronics and telecommunication engineering focus on IT as well as core based courses. So if the students are confused if they want to go in core or IT branch, ETC branch is best for them. Also telecommunication The monthly tests had moderate difficulty level where as the final exam

Courses and well structured and upto date. But some subjects are there related to environment and all which are there in the curriculum which provide students moral values. Some teachers just use smart kard to teach which must be avoided and must use black board to explain concepts to students The frequency of exams is very high specially in even semester which can be improved

Placement is satisfactory as average is 4lakh for core branches. Also highest package is 24lpa.But Ressession causes unemployment. This year 23-24 batch suffer a lot for placement. But average is about 4 lpa only.

From the 7th semester students are able to get campus placements, the companies visted was mindtree, tcs, etc after getting the degree i preceived some more courses, the campus depends on the course you have selected for electronics and communication they were very less core companies
