I heard about this institution since my school days. Shri shikshayatan college's faculty holds a good reputation among students in Kolkata especially. It's Calcutta University affiliated which is recognized by most of the companies and colleges so taking admission for higher studies becomes a bit flexible.

It is a prestigious institution. Plus the number of seats in science sections are less so according to me the interaction between students and professors are better. It is a girl's college which is another advantage for girls staying away from home to study. The professors are very helpful and friendly. But the reception people are not very polite. There is another disadvantage for students staying away from home that there is no hostel facility provided by the college

I had selected this college because of its Faculty members, Goodwill, exposure to outside world, the college timing. The best thing about this college is some teachers who go beyond their way to help you out.

This is one of the top colleges. Faculty is good. Located at a convenient place. Reputed one. The infrastructure is good. And the college campus is attractive. The teachers were friendly and also I chose bcom because I heard that the course here is great. All other courses are also good. The seniors are good. It has a good facility for other co curricular activities be it sports, cultural and debate and others. It have lot of opportunities for overall development of a student.
