JSS Noida Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placement in civil engineering is very rare in every college of AKTU. On-campus placement is very rare, but many got off-campus placements. Around 4-5 companies come. College does not spend money on calling companies. In other branches placement record is good. From the last few years 1 or 2 students are getting the highest placement of around 40 lakhs otherwise av package is 4-4.5 lakhs.

If you want to go in the government sector then go for core branches i.e civil, electrical, and mechanical. And the core branches BTech course is so good in jss. Most of the courses are naac certified except one or two. And if you want to do any coaching for another thing then also take a branch in which you can safe from yourself from unwanted extra pressure i.e civil, mechanical &electrical. Students around 1000 almost take admission in jss and student come from everywhere east up, Delhi NCR, Maharashtra, etc. And if we came to faculty then there is enough faculty for every course and all the faculty members are highly qualified and all the teachers are beyond the line of excellence. One of the best things about knowledgeable teachers that is most of the faculty teachers are from the south and are doctorate. I would like to share that due to covid 19 our college teachers gave good efforts to provide the knowledge to us on online mode too. It means they exert their full efforts on each&every topic.

There are average placements. Many companies come which hire and take students like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys. Avg placement is 3-4 LPA. But highest package varies to 25-30 LPA. I think 80% of students get placements. My plan is to take a job and work after college.

The placements are very good in our college. The Average package is 5 lakhs per annum and most people got placed. Last time the highest package is of 33 lakhs was given by Amazon. A lot of reputed Mnc's visit every year and take the students like byjus, oppo, ola, TCS, Infosys etc.

I'm currently in my 3rd year of the course and there is a training and placement cell in the college that provides placement opportunities to the students. Companies like Amazon India, Infosys, Wipro, Samsung, Capgemini, Torrent power, Kronos, Byjus and many other companies provide opportunities to the students. The highest package offered was around 34 lacs by Amazon India followed by Kronos 15-16 lacs. Mostly software firm provides a good opportunity for students. I also plan to get placed in the above software firms.

I took the information technology branch as I have internet in that field, also its faculty is decent in JSSATEN. Only two sections of IT is there so there is the decent ratio of teacher: students. If you are preparing for gate or looking for competitive coding teachers who will not help you out, you have to do it on your own. Total 3 internal exams are there in a semester and they are conducted every month. If you study well for a week you can score well.

From 7 semesters students are eligible for placement. I do not know exactly how many companies visit our campus but about 100 companies visit our campus like Infosys, Adobe, TCS, Paytm etc. 22.5 LPA is the highest package offered by Adobe to a girl and the average package is about 3.5 LPA. About 60-70% of students get placement every year. I want to get a job after my degree completion and then prepare for M.tech or MBA

The on-campus placements start in the 8th sem. The companies that give the opportunities on campus are Amazon, Tcs, Adobe, Wipro, BirlaSoft, Hcl, Dell, and many more. The average package is around 3.5 lakhs. The highest package is of Amazon around 30 lakhs. Around 75% of the students get placed every year on-campus and many students apply for off-campus jobs.

The campus provides 100 percent placement. And most of the students get placement from the college itself. Though non-tech students crack examinations for higher studies with good results. And Students also get entrepreneurship opportunities from the college.

Good aspects:- The college is in Bengaluru, the IT hub of India. The exposure you get is good. The course curriculum is in line with the industry mostly. There's ample time so you can prepare for your interviews or even GATE exam properly.The lush green campus is a treat to watch.Bad aspects:- The teachers aren't good. Placement is not good. It's average. If you can work on your skills you can grab a good placement. Admission is through COMEDK. You can get it if you have rank of < 12k
