The faculty is good with great knowledge and in nature I can't take name but mostly all are captains which are amazing I like all the faculties There are 6 exams in 1 year 3 exams per 6 months and level of exams is moderate

The course structure includes the pre season training of 4 years as marine engineer and after graduating as a marine engineer , the cadet will be placed in a ship who needs to sail for 6 months and d will be attending further exams for other classes The toughness of the exams in the institute are average and can be written with the knowledge taught by the faculty . Frequent examinations improves the students explanation of the answers .This institute has chief engineer's and captains who teach the cadet's based on their experience and knowledge.

SIMS has one of the best academic as well as workshop faculty among all the IMU affiliated colleges .

SIMS's student ratio is the best among all the training institutes in India cause SIMS believes in quality education. The faculty at Sims are highly qualified professors and experienced seafarers, SIMS has its method of teaching which is unique and very helpful for students. Interaction between student and teacher is excellent and highly appreciable cause SIMS believes every student is important.

Total 12-15teachers are there, and some of them are chief engineers and others are graduate in mechanical, electrical and electronics engineering and master in Ocean engineering and some of are 4th marine engineer they have very good experience in there field. Average age is above 30 plus.

Best College for Maritime studies

5-6 lectures a day also being delivered by experienced Captain who have alot of experience in shipping industry Briefly explained each and every topic and guide us through their experience and taught us how to tackle in emergency situations. Faculty are available all time during college hours and very helpful in clearing doubts and also focus on practical knowledge rather than therotical knowledge.

Best Maritime college

Many faculty members are mariners and are well trained. Teachers are highly professional and they have knowledge about every single thing which we study. They are strict but extremely helpful to us. they are like a family away from family.

Review of B.Tech Marine Engineering

Our staffs have got very high competence in the marine industry. They work so hard in making us perfect in every aspect of our course as there are no mistakes allowed. They are sometimes strict about this too.
