Admission:
The cut off of CAT score and past academics scores are taken into consideration for the admission in the institute. I had a good score so I was selected for the Group Discussion and personal interview round. Then finally one had to wait for the cumulative result of both the rounds and wait for the final merit list. Surprisingly my name was in the first ten names.

Values, Discipline and environment these are the best thing about Aimk.
In this Institute everything is handled by seniors because of that seniors and juniors have good relation. From admission till their placements senior support them in every step.
Everyone is good in that institute whether it is faculty,administration, and mess manager, Accounts department everyone

ROI is a big factor, approx 100% placement is provided by the college each year.
Negative - extracurricular activities need some improvement for overall growth of the students.
Positive - Placement/ internship is extremely good compare to other institute.

Inferno is one of the major events celebrated in the college. Apart from that, Drishtikon is an event dedicated towards budget discussions. Symposium and annual day celebration is also a regular part of the annual schedule.

The college is presently in Alipore,but in coming years ,the location of the college would in Rajarhat. AIMK will be going to have their new campus at Rajarhat. The college is small but the Experience and Friends you make here are for lifetime. Students coming Different region of the country come here to study. There is no cultural barrier in campus,all students respect each other feelings and Culture.

The Army Institute of Management, Kolkata is a highly recommended college for pursuing a graduate management degree in the city.
Academics:
- The faculties are great and friendly.
- There are frequent external lectures and industrial visits. Through which you will get to learn the know-how of the industry.
Campus:
The hostel is compulsory. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. Mess food is good. Ragging is dealt with strict punishment.
Placements:
- Students placed in the campus placement drives are offered jobs throughout India such as New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, etc.
- For the 2018-20 batch, highest salary offered was INR 10 lakhs per annum and the average salary was INR 5.07 lakhs per annum with companies such as OYO Rooms, Make My Trip, PwC, TCS, DHL, etc. recruiting from the campus.
Alumni:
The vast alumni network is one of the advantages of the institute. There are more than 220 alumni who are currently working in the North American region.
So overall, it is a very good institute for pursuing a management degree.
