Remarks

Good Alumni base and placement are the strongest point of this college. The all round activities like sports, Co curriculum activities, inter college participation support and the supporting staff are main reasons for opting this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college provides a very strict curriculum with academics and other activities like sports etc going hand in hand and thus we learn to manage our work this way. The faculty are good as well, they are always there to help and monitor your activities. A mentor is assigned to a group of students who helps those students to Excell in their activities and learning abilities.

The company which comes to this college, range from FMCD, FMCG, financial, educational, Healthcare etc fields. The companies ranges from startup, Domestic to MNC. Companies like Bajaj electronics, Mahindra finance, TCS, Hafele etc comes to this college.

College Events

The events, extracurricular activities and campus life is awesome, each one of the college students get good time and opportunity to participate in all the activities like sports, business plan, Bazare etc etc.

Our college infrastructure is newly built and it is very clean and green. Here you will get GYM, basketball court, football ground, table tennis, badminton and cricket ground. Newly built auditorium and nice classrooms are the plus point of this college infrastructure.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
