Law as a career is a recession-proof career. Right from class 11th I was determined to choose law as a career option in my graduation. With the help of moot-court competitions which our college has organized along with, along with those of different universities, indeed it has proved to be very beneficial in enhancing our mooting skills as it will help us to prepare for the real legal profession of advocacy outside. Exams are held after 2 months of a semester starting and it is difficulty level is easy to moderate.

The course curriculum is based on the directions given by GGSIPU University since FIMT College is affiliated with it. They have recently changed their curriculum for law students, which is better than the previous curriculum. But still, the training of the basic skills that should be there in the skillset of the law student is not provided by the college itself even activities that are the part of syllabus are not executed by the college. There are two exams one is an internal examination of 25 marks and the other is an external examination of 75 marks for each semester.

Which i have select the course is ballb 5 year law program . In five years i have read many laws which was helping me in my future practices . This curriculum surely based on real life senerios . But in terms of improvement i surely need to more focus on practical aspect rather on bookish kownledge . Exams conducted in 2 times a year it is semester based pattern . Internal and external both .

There is a placement cell that students can actively take part in which has employment opportunities as well as internships one . There are companies such as wipro, accenture, HCL. Although I plan to secure a placement for experience and skill enhancement then opt for PG

I decided to opt for this course in 11th class and the curriculum doesnot really prepares students for real world application because college doesnot provide internships to the students and placements also . Teachers should do some more hardwork on the topic which they are going to teach the class . Exams happens on interval of every 3.5 month to 4 month and the difficulty level is normal .

From the second last and last semester of course student become leigible for campus placements. The top recruiters during my college pass out were Khaitan & co, Phoenix legal and Quislex. The highest salary package offered were 4.8 lac per annum and average salary package offered were 2.7 lac per annum. Around 50 to 60% student get placement from campus.

The course is well defined to suit the future aspects of the student. Adequate co-curricular activities along with on ground reality exposure to the students prepare them for the future. Exams are held on a regular basis along with ample amount of assignments and project work. In a field like law, which requires practical knowledge, it is ensured that adequate practice is forged into the student's routine, moot court competitions, MUN's, awareness programmes, Plv training are all part of the overall curriculum of the student. Exams are conducted twice in 6 months where indepth questions test the knowledge theoritical as well as practical, of the student. The course encourages the student to gear up and perform better in every aspect of the course. The faculty is helpful and cooperative which leads you towards achieving new heights in your studies as well as career. Additionally, it also provides judicial services coaching at minimal cost to help students prepare for the exam.

I heard by the senior the placement is very good if you are qualified the interview of company so you will get good job & good packege & many companies are collaborating with our college like mnc's Google extramarks Amazon

The main respect of this course is to the equivalence of your mind set for business suggested areas of improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods are do something for students in practical life

FIMT provide training and guidance about interview and jobs to their students from 1st semester of the course. But the eligibility of student to sit in campus placement is starts from 5th semester onwards. The compnaies like ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and other corporate situated in gurugram came in the college for campus placement. The average package of FIMT students got through campus placement is about 3.5 lakh per annum. The highest package of FIMT student got is about 9 lakh per annun. The percent and attendance of student is very important to sit in campus placement. The student need to know that the minimum percent in campus placement is 85% and the minimum attendance is abou 75%. My plan after the degree is to get admission in MBA college. In which I will get better career opportunities in future.
