IIM Udaipur and IMT Ghaziabad both have their strengths, but when it comes to placements and internships, IMT Ghaziabad tends to have the edge. The average package at IIM Udaipur is around 19.5 Lakh with a somewhat disappointing internship scenario, while IMT Ghaziabad, known for its strong industry connections, typically offers better internship opportunities and higher placement packages. The campus life at IIM Udaipur is vibrant with numerous clubs and events, which is great for networking, but if you're primarily focused on job prospects and career outcomes, IMT Ghaziabad might be the better choice. I recommend IMT Ghaziabad for those who prioritize robust placement opportunities, while IIM Udaipur is a good fit if you value a lively campus atmosphere and are okay with taking more risks on placements.
If you want the IIM tag, then go for IIM Udaipur. However, if your considerations include faculty, peer group, academic and non-academic environment, alumni base, location, eligibility to participate in competitions, syllabus, practical exposure, and placements, then you should consider IMT Ghaziabad. Marketing is the forte of IMT Ghaziabad, which is a well-respected institution in the industry with a sizable alumni base that can assist you with placements and career growth. Hope this helps.

IMT Ghaziabad would be a worthwhile investment if you’re planning to pursue a distance MBA. Your insights about the program's quality, course modules, and learning experiences are valuable for prospective students considering this option. Here's a summary of your points:

We have both internship and placement opportunities. Internship offers start rolling in towards the 4th sem in the 1st year. With many companies coming to the campus for the same. For placement, we have a dedicated placement week which kickstarts the process around September in the 2nd year. We have around 200-300 companies visiting over the whole placement process and the CTC ranges from 40 lacs to 6 lacs

The faculty to student ratio was approx 40:1. The faculty was generally engaged in the course well and provided insights whenever required. We had some notable alumni like Singhvi sir who was well known and pushed students to the absolute maximum

The campus life was well balanced with different committees for different facets like Cultural, Economic, Academic, International Relations etc. with each having their own festivals across the year. The library was one of the biggest with multiple floors having books, newspapers, magazines and periodicals.

The Hostels were AC equipped in the first year and were on a sharing basis. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The mess had a fixed menu serving brekfast, lunch and dinner and were generally hygenic and tasteful.
