Handique girls college review

Likes

There are all girls in my college so I am not shy about anything
Because I am a girl I can do whatever I want
The college teachers are very good, whatever I ask they tell me well

Dislikes

A little more marks are required to get admission
These are very strict rules for dressing in college
The college attendance rules are also very strict where if the student does not have 70% marks then he/she is not allowed to take the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the dungi course curriculum, I chose this course because I am already from science background and I like studying it, the teacher's thing is different, all are very good Usually, our one semester gets completed in 6 months and there are 3 exams in it.

My experience of the College

Likes

The teachers of education department are very good at what they do.
The Hygiene of the washrooms are maintained
The availability of street food outside the campus

Dislikes

Some teachers are not qualified to be regarded as teachers
Some are very rude and are unjust towards students
The management of the exam structure is very poor

Teachers should be cut slack to maintain their mental health. They are not provided enough rest. The exam schedule are not at all managed properly. It is quite hectic and students fail to cope up with it

Things you need to know

Likes

The college is a reputed one so it will be benefited later on
The professors of our department are very helpful. We can reach them for help whenever needed. Also they support us for doing internship, workshop, etc.
It is located in a good place. We can easily get transport, and there are also shops nearby where we get almost everything needed for study.

Dislikes

The campus is very small. Since it is a govt. college the govt. should look after it as it is a great and reputed college which is doing good.
The college authority most of the time don't focus on important things and focuses on useless things more.
The laboratories don't have enough apparatus and equipments. Also the labs are not well maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is relevant. Life science is interesting to study. It is interesting so I had chosen it. After studying this we can apply for masters or if we do this degree for 4 years according to NEP we will be able to apply for PhD without doing masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum from 2023 is called fyugp , four year undergraduate program under nep 2020. This course is not clear to anyone, as we are it's 1st batch we are filled with surprises every semester and every student has the burden to study other subject which results in degradation of marks, for ex I'm from science background and I have to study Pol science or history which is not my field , so it becomes very hard for me to score in that subject resulting my overall results gets affected

Handique Girls’ College- The first women college in the Northeast

Likes

Teachers are supportive and helping. Study environment is okay. Students’ demands are taken into consideration.

Dislikes

College authorities have implemented unnecessary uniform rules saying as a girl student kurtas above knee length is indecent. Canteen food and price is not good. The college is not that spacious.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Handique is a quite reputable college. The students get good study environment. The curriculums are good but doesn't help for the real life situations. Cultural programs should be held more with allowing normal students to participate rather than the union members. Attendance policy is strict but doesn't even consider if a student is having real problems.

Likes

The professors of our department are quite friendly.
Co- curricular activities are given full support.
The environment of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Rooms are quite small according to class size.
Washrooms are dirty and not in a condition to use.
Space is less in the college and we don't get proper space to sit during breaks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is good but i feel some things are unnecessary. And it could have been more interesting if some good literature novels were included. I think the university can look again at the course which will be beneficial.

My college campus , i really like my college campus although it is small but it is neat and tidy I like the way the maintain it and the flowers planted around the campus . Our college campus is full of positive energy and love being seated.
I also like my college canteen , the food everything canteen provide filtered water to the students and the food in the canteen are affordable and cost effective . The faculty members are literally connected/engaged with the students
Our principal is very nice he maintain the college smoothly, He do visit every department of the college everyday ,he is a person of his word ,he is honest and kind , He is of friendly nature and he ensure that the students secure / safe in college

Dislikes

I don't the library of our college no new books are available, all the books are of old edition which are of no used , there is no newspaper in the library the library is literally very small for the college there is nohelpful material foundfor study
I literally hate the sanitary part no cleanliness nothing its so dirty they don't maintain the washroom, no sanitary pads and napkins in the toilet,no handwash , no proper pipeline, no problem water facilities in the College sanitary , no dustbin
I don't like the security guard they are literally very rude , the college building colour are almost all fade no proper infrastructure nothing, lack of laboratory materials, no computer equipment nothing, limited number of classroom ,no proper light

Placement Experience:

- Graduate Student - private companies (5-6) every year highest package 20,000 and average 10,000. 50% of the students got placement every year . My plans after getting degree is to become state Banker or central banker

Likes

The teacher and the teaching methods , including both staff and non staff members , they are very helpful and kind towards everyone.
The environment of the college is very good for the students to study , and explore more .
The classroom are good and clean , it also avail with digital classroom for more comprehensive learning

Dislikes

Washroom of the college remain dirty sometimes, and sometimes there’s no water
There’s is lack of classroom , as compared to the size of the students there .
Canteen of the college is also not so good , food is not tasty not upto the price

Course Curriculum Overview:

For me , economic was a subject i choose for it is a subject with very comprehensive scope , which will help me to choose my career in different path . This help in marketing and buss and also banking sector . This help to know the real life activities of the market , baking sector , gives us a wider knowledge of the world in terms of economic.

My college is the best.

Likes

Things i liked about my college is the environment it is quite good . The stuff and other members are kind.
The teachers are very helpful they are always there for us.
The library is go to go place we can read books and chill there in the ac . The comp lab is air conditioned too

Dislikes

The classes need to constructed actually and some benches need to be change.
The bathrooms are not cleaned it should be clean
The food of the canteen is good but for the students it is quite expensive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i chose is regular course . This course helped me alot actually. I am thinking of doing masters. The timing for my exams are enough i get 3 hrs so i can write down the best for the exam sometimes it gets shorter but somehow i try to manage .

College Ka Khulasa

Likes

The campus is quite good and has a nice environment
Teachers and staffs are also great and helpful in every aspects.
Also the infrastructure are also quite good

Dislikes

In summer times it’s difficult to do classes as there are very few fans in each classroom
Campus is good enough but not that spacious
Canteen foods are bit unhygienic, they could improve in here

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose botany because yeah i do have interest in plant physiology, it's interesting and great. Teachers teaches their portion well and elaborately. Overall good experience. So the timing of each classes is 1hr and whenever there is sessional exam timing 1 hr and for semester exam it's 3 hrs.
