There is a college fest like aavahan which is a sports fest and there are several clubs in college too which give a boost to students for performing their best in college and enjoy.
Yes, thare are scholarship opportunities for many students of obc sc and st categories.
Faculties are good here, they are kind, helpful and way of teaching is very nice.

Dislikes

Worst part of college is that no placement are being done companies are not visiting college
Admission process is simple but you may face problems in some situations.
Only few students got hostels and hostels conditions are not good

Placement Experience:

The average package job through jec is 5 lakh per annum or more. From your 8th semester you can apply for the various companies like tcs and others The highest package mentioned is 47 lakh. Above 50% of students get placed. I have planned to prepare for the DSA and other coding activities to get placed in company.

Nice College With Great Experience

Things i like in my college that is my specific is that professors are very chil they don't give a log of burden to the students of work , assignments
Second thing that infra of our college is much big and very aprreciable
Third one i like in my college that ... There is no any strict attendance rule ... you have to maintain a little or more attendance to be elligble in exams ... You can also prepare for your other exams alo ...while college

Sorry i don't think there is any reason to dislike jec college ... remeber it is my opinion otherwise i don't think so

Not at all there is very good college from my prospective

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible to apply for campus placement ... There are some companies which recruite students like TCS, Wipro , Mahindra etc... Average pakage is around 3lpa and highest on campus pakage is around 12lpa per annum ... btw off campus placement is much high it is around 52lpa ... which was a cse student of 2022 passout batch

Social interaction and campus life is good enough

Always wanted to choose the course that i chooses ( it ) information technology Course curriculum is well I don't have any doubts on my curriculum And yet the curriculum is changed in 2024 but it will be changed in 6th sem or 7th

Yes Sure, I lived 4 year in this College and i know very well about the college and the ratio of boys and girls is 7:3 according my branch and and my friends branch
I Liked in this college is new department of Artificial and Data Science
All the faculty is well trained and i really like it

Dislikes

Playground is small as compare to other college but its Sufficient
Yes one more is Infrastructure because this college is made 1947 so its not good as first year Student but we come here to gain some knowledge not for enjoy
Hostal Facilities are basic and improvement in living condition in some Hostals

Placement Experience:

Placement at Jabalpur Engineering College (JEC) are decent but not extraordinary now a days and we discuss at previous year the top most companies is visit here Like Microsoft , Amazon , TCS , Wipro , Dp - Morgane , Cognizent etc.

The environment of this college is very green there is separate departments for each stream there is admin block where first year student take classes so interaction with senior is less so ragging can't happen but they come. And take your intro whic
There is ncc 4 mpctr battalion which you can join to get ncc a and b certificate
In college there is various clubs and societies

Dislikes

The canteen is very small and the snacks are expensive and quality less but the chai is good
No event is organised by college apart sport event avahaan
Placement is very low but it is a government college so what you can expect

Placement Experience:

The placement is pretty good I am from mechanical engineering and taking with the seniors of 2024 batch pass out they say the 75% students get on campus placement though very companies are come for placement but it is pretty good

The low fees of College is appreciated but infrastructure need improvement
Campus is so vast and clean and you will meet great people here
Faculty is top notch its the edge this college have over other colleges

Dislikes

The attendance policies of the college are not that good
Its is an old college so some department are not in good condition
There are limited seats for hostel for first year student

Placement Experience:

From your 6 semester you can try out for placement even outside the campus almost 40 company visted this year and offered maximum of 15 lpa and average pacakage of jec is 6 lpa which is quite decent .and about 70 percent of students got placed this year and i am also looking for capmpus placement.

I only like about this college is the low fess

Dislikes

I think the infrastructure need to be more developed by time
Personally I'm not satisfied with the campus life because of the low interaction with the other branches students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have no choice because of my financial conditions of my family so this force me to opt for this college. The curriculum has no real world applications or further academics pursuits except for Gate. The end sems held in every 3 to 4 months and they are quite easy to score.

JEC - A legacy holding and prestigious college

Likes

College is in the outskirts of Jabalpur surrounded by nature
Faculties are well qualified and have experience of at least 10 years
A top notch central library is there where one can find every course related books

Placement Experience:

College placements are top notch. One become eligible for campus placement in 7th semester. About 80% people get placed every year in companies like Microsoft, Walmart, Amazon, TCS, etc. every year, a lot of people comes under AIR 50 in GATE exams
