There is a college fest like aavahan which is a sports fest and there are several clubs in college too which give a boost to students for performing their best in college and enjoy.
Yes, thare are scholarship opportunities for many students of obc sc and st categories.
Faculties are good here, they are kind, helpful and way of teaching is very nice.

Dislikes

Worst part of college is that no placement are being done companies are not visiting college
Admission process is simple but you may face problems in some situations.
Only few students got hostels and hostels conditions are not good

Campus environment which was very friendly
Various fest and celebration that happen in college
Support from senior and faculty members and batchmate

Course Curriculum Overview:

Great and supportive faculty especially of Mechanical engineering where faculty teaches you more practically there are various labs where you gain practical knowledge and enhance your learning apart from this the campus is very beautiful in all seasons.

JEC is Decent College

Likes

Highly qualified professors and willing to share there knowledge
Exams is conducted in well planned way and result is authenticticults
1947 college still infrastructure is good due to regular maintenance

Dislikes

Hostels is not alloted to every applicant
No strict action against maas bunk so becomes an habit
Labs is not properly working only 1 or 2 labs are in running condition

Placement Experience:

In 7 th semester students are eligible for placement. Past 2 years many company is visiting also to mechanical engineering branch LNT and Reliance are main. Average package of 5 lacks per year And highest in nearly 10 lacks

This college give students sufficient time to work on their skills.
The alumini network of the college is great.

Dislikes

College Infrastructure is not that good.
The Students and Faculty ratio is not good.
College will not provide better placement opportunities as expected on campus.

Placements at the college are average the students become eligible from the 6th semester till 8th Semester. Companies visited here are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L&T, and much more. Placement opportunity is not as much here so you have to try off campus.

Infrastructure is very maintained and good.
Faculties are very chill and supportive in nature.
We can wet our hand in startup companies because major startup companies are participating in our college placement.

Dislikes

The classes are not totally arranged and well maintained.
Sometimes the result are late as our is affiliated with rgpv.
In lab there are old working machine or instruments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always want to be an engineer .The faculty of our college is too good supportive.Mostly teacher are PhD holder only few are guest faculty with Mtech as qualification. Terms exam are exact or before the time but the difficulties are very high in exam to pass that's why the distribution of marks are low

Jec- a college where you can do engineering for free

Likes

Fees is very less compared to other colleges
You get a lot of free time, attendance issue is not there
Alumni network is great as the college was established in the year 1947

Dislikes

Campus life is not that good, exposure to other activities is not good
The labs are not upto the mark, majority systems do not work
On campus placements are not that great but hopefully it would be improving in the upcoming years

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ai is the upcoming generation....some faculty members are very good while some are pathetic ....but ig that's a situation in most of the colleges ....there are 2 mid sems conducted in a time span of 1 month and the end sems are of decent difficulty...to get a decent score studying just before the exams is sufficient

best college for gate or upsc preparation

best college for preparing for exams like gate,upsc because you will get enough time to prepare in your third and fourth year
best alumini of our colleges many alumini are in goverment positions
bigger area of our college almost about 800 acre ,backside roberson lake also

Dislikes

college has not been renovated ,old benches
reservation criteria is the only thing i dislike
all the students cannot get the hostel only some student get it

student to faculty ratio in our college is about 1:120, teachers are well qualified and well trained .exams in college in first year is easy and after that particular subject wise specilisation course the exams in second and third year and fourth year is difficult

placment is not good in 2023 year i dnt why but in it and cs brance placment option is available ,my plane is for of campuse placment student getting less placment ratio is very low .overal if you sutdy and good branch get placment

Low fees and very much affordable to any one
They provide with imp notes which help you study
Faculty is good and available with variety

Dislikes

Campus life is not good. There is No campus life
Poor in Maintaining rules and regulations
They don't create much of a challenge in study

Mechanical engineering is a versatile branch in btech considering the increase use of ai jobs in cs branch will get affected negatively The faculty of jec jabalpur is quite good fit each subject you get 2 to 3 teachers and suit yourself

Life on JEC

Likes

Over all college life is good, you don't need to take stress about things.
you don't need to attend every class and lecture.

Dislikes

There are less permanent faculties so most classes are taken by guest faculty.
There is not much exposer to internship form college side, so you need to apply it yourself.
less to no effort on placement preparation .

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. It is a new branch, so i can't say much but so far everything is good. Recently college has built department building and we also has lab for Ai.

My experience was good in My colledge I love It
It has very best faculty and staff they support students
It has very large labs and has very machineries

Dislikes

Campus is very old and is not maintained properly
Many machines are not in working conditions
Boys Hostel students threaten other students and also beet the students and the staff and principal do nothing

I am persuing Btech in Mechatronics engineering , it is new and very interesting cource it is a mixture of electronics and communication engineering and mechanical eagineeringa .The term exam are held in every 6 month .
