PIET Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The quality of placements is excellent, and that's an essential thing this college is famous for. A large number of known companies come for recruitment and offer a salary package from average to highest, depending on individual skills. Companies come here such as Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, SAP lab, etc visited the college to conduct placements. My plan after getting a degree is to get a good job.

Campus placements were average at our time but now as I heard about our college on-campus placements become high as compared to our time. From our batch approx. 45% of students were getting placed in different companies. Few of our batchmates opted to do further study to make a career in reputed companies. I had also chosen to do MBA to get a job in a big company and I got my dream job now that's why I am sharing my review.

Students got campus placement at end of the 8th semester, but the placement process started from the 6th semester. Few more students got good jobs, students get an average package of 7.65 lac approX. Approx. 45% of students get placed from our batch and many of our batchmates including me opted for further higher study and joined different colleges for MBA to get a much-reputed job at a better company.

More than 100 corporate companies are visited on our campus like Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is very high. The average package is 5 lacs ad the highest package can go up to 15-16lacs.

There are a lot of companies for the placement Loke, Amazon, Infosys. You will become eligible for placements from 3 years the highest package this year was 28 lakhs per anum and the average package is 4 lakhs per annum.

Students eligible from 3rd year to sit in the placements and college drove a lot of programmes for placements. Soo much hype for Entrepreneurship here, they have an Idea lab named Block where they ready students for Entrepreneurship. Placements were ok with 70-80% students. if you are good at study and skills for sure you get placement.

You can apply for an internship in the 3rd year and placement in the 4th year. companies like Wipro, capgemini etc visit for recruitment. The highest package was 24 LPA by amazon average package was 3-4.5 LPA only 70-80% of students get placed my plan is to set a new highest placement package record on the campus.

A sign of good students is that they don't think about the placements. The only thing they know is that to keep hard work constantly and put in additional skills required in that field. By the way, if I talk about the placements I would say, when you step in PIET please put the question of placements out of your mind. The last few years tell the entire scenario of placements. Around 70% of students get placed. Recently amazon offer a big amount package of 28Lpa.

As I told you our college does organise placement programs. a no of the company comes and pick up no of the student. Last year a girl from the IT department get the placement of 28 lakh from the college campus and this year 16 lakh.
