The syllabus is good, for CSE you can prepare for gate and placement simultaneously.

Infrastructure and placement of this college sucks.

There is no placement after covid. Mostly students apply off-campus pr go for higher studies. About 20% students get placed with average of 3LPA. I am planned to applied for off-campus opportunities and also appear for GATE.

The College Life in Burdwan

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

And man students are selected for TCS-digital from off-campus placements , our seniors are also placed in good mncs , if u have good relationship with seniors then u will refferal very easily . This year one of our seniors got 11LPA Package in TCS-prime.

Placement Experience:

Most of the IT companies come here like TCS, WIPRO, BYJUS, INFOSIS, TECH MAHINDRA. There are a lot of oppertunities for CSE and IT graduates. But core companies don't come that much so if you are from core branch you have to go for off capmus for core jobs. And average package offered is 6 LPA. overall 78% students got placed through in-campus and off campus.

Navigating through University Institute Of Technology.

Dislikes

Internship opportunities are not good and one has to apply outside for the same. Placement opportunities are decent as mostly mass recruiters come for on campus placement drives.

Placement Experience:

Students get eligible to sit for placement drive from 7th semester onwards. Companies ( mostly mass recruiters ) come for placement drives and offer CTC around 3-7 lpa. Most of the students in (CSE,IT,ECE) get placed.

Placement are decent in our college if you have enough skills and project experience you will get placed. You are eligible for the campus placement from the 7th semester, around 50 company visit our college for the placement rounds including IT , sales and core companies. 90 percentage of the students get placed, i will be settled after completing my degree

College placements are excellent you can get a minimum of 1.8 lakh per year upto 25 LPA. You can get jobs in TCS, Byjus, Amazon, and other bootstrap companies. The highest package is off-campus 45 LPA and the lowest package is 1.2 LPA. 90% chance to get placement. After my degree, I want to go for MTech.

Tech fest are not given any importance in the colleges. Holidays for internship are also not allowed here.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Infosys, hcl, and other service-based companies. There are rarely any product-based companies on campus. Some startup companies do arrive. Offers are made about in ratio 1:4. The highest packages are mostly from off-campus placements about 21lpa. I will look for a job after I have completed my BE

UIT Burdwan is not a good choice when compared to Silicon Institute of Technology. You should avoid going there. The following are the points to be considered.

UIT Burdwan is Government funded and affiliated with Burdwan University. But the intake of 60 undergraduate students is low.
It accepts only WBJEE ranks for admission.
The placement in UIT Burdwan is also poor. It offers limited internship opportunities for the students.
A few of the top recruiters in CSE include TCS, Infotech, Infosys, IBM, L&T, and more.
