The social service got my eyes on this course. The intention of creating the mentality of helping others by social service made me join the course. This course provides a great service towards the betterment of future and people in it.

I understood in the near future the chances and opportunities this course had. Even though it's a future proof course the syllabus is quite outdated actually. The university should look into improving this course and syllabus furthermore.

When I was young ,I likes computers much and I started searching for the courses that helps me in my career improvement ,so when I make a study upon this area I understand theres a course bmsc computer science a I pursued it ,mostly while saying about the improvement of this course there must be more practical than those theorys and also wants to reduce the hardness of core subjects

I think the curriculum is well done. I've always been curious about this subject and I feel like this syllabus is pretty informative. I think it really opens up something in us and it's unlike anything that we've experienced in schools before. So I'm pretty satisfied with the course curriculum. The teaching methods of the teachers who teach the core subjects are also good. But the language teachers are not good enough. You can tell that they lack skills to handle a class. Not only that, but they also don't feel like professionals when it comes to their subjects. It feels like they could be more educated about it. As this college comes under the calicut university, the exam and the results are quite irregular. And also there's a higher credit point for complementary subjects than core subjects which messes up the sgpa.

I have choosen Psychology for my degree because i am very interested in studying about human mind and I am also a good listener. It was evidently my own decision to choose this course. This course is actually very good and also my college provide better teaching facilities. A very good library and friendly teachers help us to study a lot. The exams are conducted in the proper time. The things to improve in the course are that this course should provide knowledge outside the book like conducting an internship program and teachers can provide better opportunities.

The course prepare the students in every aspect required to be able to work among the people as future social workers. The course provides field works, internships, research opportunities, psychological, physical and economical knowledge about the society to give us an understanding about what we have to face as future social workers.

This course curriculum is designed in a way that by the time you pass out in three years, you are supposed to be ready for the opportunities the UG degree offers...but then again it still depends on how 'you' individually are capable with 'your own' skills. One thing which should be revised in the Calicut University examination methods, then i personally would like to suggest about changing the examination Mark pattern system. In the exam , the Section A is of something like 10-12 questions with 2 marks each making it 20 marks (you're supposed to write at least 10) (with or maybe without ceiling) overall but then 6 questions in Section B is must out of 6-7 questions , having 5 marks each and then at last you are supposed to attend two essay questions (10 marks each) which is expected to be written minimum of 1.5 page each answer of the question. This is just a personal suggestion but I think that this imbalance in the marking system causes a lot of time consumption.

The course BSW (bachelor of social work) is a opportunitable course. The scope of the course is mostly based on the PG course MSW (masters of social work) / scope in outside of India eg: Canada , UK , Australia etc. I think college should provide more internships outside of Kerala Exam timings vary all the time(irregular)

The course I opt in our college is bsc psychology and The college provide the best education and better teaching methods for us.Our college is best known for this course .Exams will conduct frequently which effectively help us for our revision process for the main exams

LISSAH is a well known college for psychology. They have a nice history in the field of psychology. Because they had focused to conduct many seminars, case discussions etc for enhancing the skills of students.But actually now the performance of the department is bit lower.
