Total fees per semester or half year (FY23-27) is ?123140 for general students which includes ?81000 tution fees,?4800 semester fees,?37340 hostel fees.No management quota is avilable all admissions are done on jee mains basis.For SC/ST tution fees are ?0, they only pay semester and hostel fees.

Gooseberry Taste of my college

As a general category student,i have to pay 113000/- sem wise, which includes tution,hostel and mess fees together. Each year this fees will get increased to certain amount for the next freshers. So our seniors' and junior's fees will be different from ours(i.e. seniors' fees will be less than ours while junior's will be more than ours). Scholarship is given for OBC category students through some procedures.I don't know think so General category students are getting scholarship.Also students from SC and ST category have very low fees compared to others. Reservation is also there for NRI's through DASA and CAWG. Students from DASA have to pay very high fees for each sem while CAWG category students are having less fees than DASA.

For general obc and ciwg candidates the fee is 1,12,400 per semester including accademics, lab, medical, hostel and mess. For Sc and St it is 29,500. For Dasa students it is nearly 4 lakhs per sem and SI student 5lakhs .Monthly expenses in include nearly 3000. The annual fee is 896000. The fee includes everything even accademis, medical ,hostel mess and they dont ask more for other purposes. Only expense is for stationery.

The year wise fees of our college (Indian Institute of Information technology design and manufacturing kancheepuram) is 2560000 ( 256k) in that 160000 (160k) is the course fee and 80000 (80k ) is the hostel fee and 6000 (6k ) is the miscellaneous fee .

IIITDM Chennai, a brief review (post-covid improvements).

Since I am a general male student pursuing B.Tech, our fees is typically the highest, being around 99k per semester. This includes 60k as tution fee, 4.8k as medical fee and 34.5k or something as our hostel and mess fee combined. I am currently in my final semester and typically, this distribution of fees has remained approximately the same. Our college does provide scholarship through NSP. Some of my friends have received good amount of scholarships. For other categories like SC and ST students, the fees is generally less than us, being in the range of 30k to 45k per semester.

Insider view of IIITDM Chennai

Yearly fee for the course including hostel and mess is around 2.5 lakh rupees for general, OBC and general EWS candidates. The fee for SC,ST and PWD candidates does not include any tution fee as it is 0 for them, they annual fee is around 80k for two semesters or 1 year. The institute will help you to apply for NSP or other government funded scholarships by sending a lot of mails regarding how to apply for them. There is no management quota and hence there is no special fee structure for those candidates. Admission to IIITDM is only provided through merit basis just like all the other IIIT's in the country.

REVIEW OF OUR COLLEGE

i am student from iiitdm,chennai.iam came this college by ST reservation.i pay 40,000 to 45,000 per each semester and yearly 80,000 to 85,000 . i also recieve schlarship nearly 40,000 per each year,but at first i paid 35,000 to 40,000 per each sem and i recieved 85,000 to 90,000 in first year .now my college has incresed my fee but they didn't incresed schlarship for sc,st students.this NSP schlarships comes for only SC,ST students and if their parents or not govt employed. i have some other categories students like general and OBC they are paying above 1 lakh for each semester and more than 2 lakhs per year and they will not get any schlarships from central or state govt. i think some EWS(OBC) girls those who are having family income less than 100000 they are got schlarship nearly 60000 in the first year.if they want continue it they should get more than 90 percentage in the first year. thats all i know about my college fee structure and(yearly)and schlarships details.

There is no specific scholarship provision for IITDM Kancheepuram, but you can avail the benefit of the government scholarship schemes based on merit, financial conditions, as well as category such as National Scholarship Programs.
