- The campus is big enough for the students to roam around and different branches and departments have there own different blocks soo students of single branch including all years study in single block soo there is good chances of interection
- Most of the teachers are friendly soo they will be easy to talk to and you can learn and study more efficiently
- Sports and other extra curricular activities are also available
Dislikes
- Building are little old and need repainting
- Main gate of the college is not recognisable soo need to work on that
- Need a canteen on the campus that I think is the most important thing
Placement Experience:
Placements are good compared to other colleges . Many big companies like Barclays , infosis and etc provided placements and internships also . The highest package was 42lac per anum and lowest was 4lac per anum.

- Many faculty members are experienced in their feilds.
- They use both of Teaching methods like Lectures and Presentations.
- Campus having active Clubs And societies like NSS(where i edit videos).
Dislikes
- Some of Lab Equipment, especially in technical labs , is outdated.
- Administrative tasks, such as getting approvals or resolving issues with scholarships , or hostel regarding matters .
- The canteen and other recreational spaces could be improved in terms of Quality.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Overall,the curriculam is fairly relavant for a foundational education in IT, offering the core concepts for understanding software development.
The course cover a wide range of subjects such as :
programming Languages - C++, Java ,
Data Structures and Algorithms , Operationg Systems , DBMS ,
Web Technologies , Software Engineering , Computer network.
Improving Sector : AI & Machine Learning , Cloud Computing and DevOps,and Teaching methods doing more practical things .
Exams are of moderate difficulty . For most of subjects need a decent understanding of subjects.

- I like the tress and nature in our college the way it is between so many tress it gives the complete feel of nature
- Events and all like E sangam , Rass (garba), hackathons, and many more to explore
- Supportive seniors and enthusiastic environment to discover new things
Dislikes
- Lack of technology in teaching new things and practicals
- It's an old college so the infrastructure is also kinda old
- It's just a tier 2 college not so many decent packages
Placement Experience:
Placement in IT and CS are on your skills and normally students got placed in this branches easily on the basis of their skills and cgpa , in other branches also there are many students who got placed like electronics and telecommunication, mechanical and other branches too

- The first the thing that I liked about the college is the students and batchmates we get to learn around are all bright minded people. The college provides holistic development to everybody.
- The campus is quite large and has a lot of greenery around. There are several blacks for several branches. The social interactions in college are pretty good.
- Since I'm in the pioneer batch of the newly introduced CSBS course I don't know the placement scenario yet but the professor had promised us to be seated in every company coming for CS & IT branches.
Dislikes
- I didn't disliked anything particularly because it's totally a individual perspective but if I'd to improve something I would say that the college should make their own basketball and tennis courts.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The B.Tech CSBS course is a new addition to the institute but it might be one of the most futuristic and upcoming course because of the diverse knowledge it can provide about the tech and the business as well. It's like a combination of Computer Science and MBA degree in itself. It might be one of the most relevant courses around the country and has been aided by none other than the famous tycoon TCS(by Tata).
The curriculum is relevant if we keep the upcoming market and job opportunities where individual which has holistic and diverse knowledge has a good lead over everyone.

- there have all required facility and good placement opportunity when you are desire and teachers have fully supportive.
- there have nothing any specieal problem but some librey and labs problem
- there have retio of girls and boys have 1/3.

Placement Experience:
there have a good opportunity for a better placement . there traning and placement cell have hard worker and very active . in every year there hace come many company for campus placement and there have avereage package 7 lpa .

- The curriculum designed is good and linent you can easily score good marks. As college is autonomous so its easy to score good as paper are set by same faculty who are teaching you.
- There are some events in the beginning of year like eday freshman orientation and Raas,invento.
- Faculty are supportive and the main thing is palcement is also decent.
Dislikes
- infrastructure is not well developed,there are lot of trees in the cmpus infact the campus size is big but it is not well developed.
- After starting of session there are events but after this there are no events whole year.
- labs facilities are also not good.there are also no sport facilitis in college if you want to play you have to go main campus which is approx1-1.5 km from our college.
Placement Experience:
From 7 semester students are eligible for palcements and from 5-6 sem for internships.
approx 40 -50 companies visit college.companies like zs associates,ascaler,deutshe bank,barclays,nri fintech,tch mahindra,capgemini,dice and son on.

- The building of my college is very old and weak
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placement after sixth semester
Visiting companies are Barclay capgemini Infosys tcs etc
Highest placement was 57lpa of 2022
Placement percentage are 100%, but 7.5 CGPA Are compulsory

- Campus location is too much good it is in Indore and its connectivity with railway bus stand and airport is just a 10 rupees city bus far
- academics is too much good is in college it is the top most government college of Madhya Pradesh in nirf ranking is 250
- As it is a government college it's aluminium network is too much strong and highest packages 1.3 crore it has most student qualified of GATE exam of highest rank under 100
Dislikes
- Due to the location of our campus is outer of the university we have to go to the university for all functions
Placement Experience:
Student become eligible in 6 semester exam
CGPA must be 7.5 or higher
Highest package of 2023 is 57 LPA
Our average package is 8 LPA
Percentage of placement in our colleges 100%
I have planned to clear gate and doing m.tech

- Academics is not the serious thing here, and student can follow on there passion.
- There are multiple mini events happens in the campus, organized by either ECELL OR other clubs.
- Senior interaction is good and they guide us for our goals
Dislikes
- Library ia there but it opens from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM which is disappointing.
- Classes are from 9 to 5 but only few classes are taken.
- Computer and other labs should be improved there are less working system.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is relavant for the interviews like we have subjecta like oops, dsa( which is most important) , programming, database management systems, operating system. These all are relavant to this time.
In a semester we have 3 tests from which you must attend 2 tests otherwise you will be detained and there is end semester exam or final exam.

- IET DAVV is also good in terms of placement and seniors are very supportive.
- Our college also have many good technical as well as non technical clubs which help in self development
Dislikes
- Snake genrally visible around the campus in rainy season
Placement Experience:
Placement good for branches like computer science, IT , Electronics but for core branches like civil engineering and mechanical engineering its not that good . Genrally placement percentage is above 90 % for non core branchs and for core branches 20 to 30 %

If you are thinking to join the Institute of Engineering and Technology, DAVV, Indore, then it would not be an idle choice. It is better you take a drop and take coaching and then enroll in some other college.
Do not waste your four years of study in IET DAVV or SGSITS. You will graduate from IET DAVV with not a promising placement and salary package. Invest your time and money in good coaching institutes. If you work hard and ready to complete your further studies then your year will not be wasted.
- IET DAVV has good Computer Engineering and IT departments as compared to other departments. So if you are thinking to get into one of these, then it would be a better decision.
- As other departments of IET DAVV will not help you gaining and acquiring any knowledge.
- Faculties of IET DAVV also don’t excel in critical thinking, knowledge, skills, and others. But they are very co-operative and help students.
- As compared to other colleges IET DAVV has a good reputation.
- Whatever you learn from IET DAVV is from its campus environment, cultural activities, and fests. These events and activities will help to gain leadership skill, boosting your confidence, and makes you a better person.
The IET DAVV staffs are friendly, they will get you books and e-learning materials. You will surely go to make good friends here.

Aakshank is the annual cultural fest of IET DAVV which is organized in the last week of February every year. This fest has been conducted since 2000 and every year the level of the fest keeps on upgrading. IET has also conducted various rock concerts where they have called top celebrities like KK, Kailash Kher, Gajendra Verma, Euphoria, DJ Willy, and many more.
Aakshank is a fest in which a plethora of events are conducted both day and night. A few day events include Paintball, Zorbing, Burma Bridge, Stunt Mania, Laser Tag, Foot Zorbing, Pinball, Street football, Street cricket, Blind date, Foosball, Angry birds, Lan gaming, Xbox, etc. There are several other outstanding events which are conducted in the college auditorium like Inter and Intra College Dance (Naach), Singing (Vaani), Skit Competition (Adaakari), and Kavi Sammelan.
With the success of Aakshank every year, this fest is receiving many sponsors which will make the next season a big hit.
- The celebrity performers are the major attraction of the fest. Though there is a ticket system. If you want to see the live celebrity performance, you have to buy a ticket for Rs. 100. Many other colleges charge even more than that. In fact, DJ night is also charged at various colleges. So, the budget point of Aakshank is quite pocket-friendly.
- Aakshank has a larger crowd than any other fest conducted in IET whether it is Fluxus or any other minor fest. Even the enthusiasm in the crowd set the vibes to another level.
- Apart from DJ Night and Star Night, there are many other adventurous events that are totally free of cost.
- Every year, this fest brings something unique like in the year 2019, India’s best comedian, Zakhir Khan performed at Aakshank.
- Not only the performers, but the participants are also very energetic during the events.
- There is a special social media team who are made to share posts and pamphlets timely on social media to keep everyone updated. The creative team as well as a promotional team make sure to bring the best out of the fest by promoting the required content related to the fest timely.
For a student of IET DAVV, Aakshank is a big thing, it’s not just a fest but it's an emotion that each student lives. With the dedicated team, Aakshank is growing every year and will remain the best fest of Central India always.
