Amity School of Engineering & Technology New Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After completing 3rd year with no backs, students are eligible to take part in campus placements. Companies start visiting campus at the start of 4th year August. Many companies have aptitude tests to clear and then technical, hr rounds. Companies like Accenture, Capgemini, Maruti, Infosys, TCS visit the campus and many get placed. Around 30% got placed through campus placement. Most companies offer packages of around 3-4 LPA.

Our placements were done with Amity University Noida students as that college being our college's parent organization. All renowned IT companies like Amazon, Capgemini, E&Y, Accenture etc came many lesser fortune companies also visited approx 280 companies visited across all streams. The highest Placement was 12 LPA and the average was 4 LPA. 40% of students got placement as almost 40-45% failed to become eligible due to backlogs. We started undergoing placement in Seventh Semester. I will be working for some time and then look for PSU through GATE.

The best thing about this college is its placements. Since it has a tie-up with Amity university Noida, we get to sit in their placements as well. It is especially heaven for Computer science and IT background students as every day new companies come to recruit the students. Companies like Accenture, Hexaware, TCS, Shell, E&Y, and a lot more are the main recruiters.

By the completion of the 3rd year, the placement process will get started. There are many companies which visit there in which some are Accenture, Wipro, TCS, hanu, SAP Labs, etc. The average package is 4 lakhs per annum while the highest package is 50 lakhs per annum which is given by amazon. Approximately 70% of students are getting placed every year. After getting the degree, I want to go for a startup.

Process of getting the certificate and provisionals is fast and after clear all the examination college doesn't stop you document and other stuff.

Study Abroad Program was a very important factor. I went to Singapore to study for a month. They have many kinds of program- International, 3-Continent, etc. It balances between studies and co-curriculum. I am currently the President of a club named Amity Software Engineering Club.

Superb?, just go for it. Best part is placements of you score well above 6. 5 CGPA, college will make sure you get placed in good company.

At my time there were only 2-3 companies which came for campus placement for mechanical engineering students. Whereas a lot of companies came for IT, CSE, ECE, ICE. And most of the big IT giants like infosys, wipro etc. they did bulk placement in alternate years. Like if in 2015 wipro did bulk placement then in next year other company like infosys will do bulk placement.

Every thing has a good or bad side but truly speaking this college gave me a lot and I loved it. So I would suggest each and everyone wherever you go just try to grab as much as you can and build strong relationship around yourself.

College is more like school as the name of college itself gives you a great hint: Amity School Of Engineer And Technology. So lots of assignments and practical files you have to prepare in most courses. Else everything is awesome.
