The faculty are good they are helpful they want to help students academically and they are really interested in engineering'
Jims greater noida provides a great environment and helps to enjoy this at its fullest.
The yeah admission process is quite complex and can be improved

Dislikes

The college follows really stringent protocols and sometimes it feels that i am studying in a school rather than a college.I know someone from the college who got suspended just for visiting the canteen during the lecture timings.
Attendance of 70 percent is mandatory for all for the mid term exams and no exception for anyone is given. If attendance is below 70 then an individual gets debarred on the basis of how low their attendance is.
The college placement is not at point and even the internships. The college does not provide any internships for the students. Students have to find the internships at their own. Things dont get any easier loooking for an internship at your own.

Balanced Learning , Supportive Environment, engaging campus life and career

Likes

Faculty is very helpful with the academics .
College provide the industrial visit , to give the college student the exposure of industry.
The infrastructure is good, with Wi-FI labs, libraries, and classrooms being adequate.

Dislikes

Hostels food quality could be better and menu should be upgraded
more industry workshops are needed to ties ups would be helpful
Lab facilities need slight modern upgradation

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Several reputed companies visit the campus including IT firms, consultancies, and startups. The highest package offered was around 8-12 lap. Placement support includes mock interviews, aptitude, and resume workshops.

Likes

I liked students here which are joyful and never say no to any type of fun activities.

Dislikes

I disliked the whole college at its peak.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum isn't like which is teaching us anything regarding real life, it is good for logic building. But thery are not teaching any modern technologies for the future which are necessary for students.

JIMS greater noida, honest review.

Likes

The faculty is helpful. They will help you well with your academics.
Fees is affordable as compared to other btech colleges.
Many intra college events happen, including inter-jims events.

Dislikes

Very less sports facilities. No specified courts for sports.
Infrastructure is not very good. The desks in first year were broken. Lift in second year building doesn’t work.
Placements are not good. The highest package for btech is 3-4LPA

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are there but of no use. In btech the maximum placement offered is 4LPA. Most of the students opt off campus placements. Some companies come for web development but rest not that much.

LIFE AT JIMS GREATER NOIDA

Likes

Air-conditioned ,computer labs, and a peaceful library.
College fests, cultural programs, debate competitions, and sports events.
Active clubs (media, tech, management) helps develop leadership skills.

Dislikes

The campus is not very large compared to other private universities in Greater Noida.
Attendance policies are strict (often 75% mandatory),which some students find difficult to manage.
Bus and transport services are available but can be inconsistent or limited for students living far away.

Placement Experience:

The placements for B.tech(CSE)is comparatively strong.Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Capgemini, Byju's ,ICICI Bank, and several startups visit the campus.The average package offered is around 4-5LPA, With the highest going up to 10+LPA.

I will like this college very much

Likes

I like our college auditorium because so many events held there.
I like our college cafeteria because it has so many foods.
I like my classmates because they are very close

Dislikes

In my department there will be a formal dress code i don't like it
I don't like our classroom because there will requirment for few changes
I didn't like the system of 75 percent attendance

Placement Experience:

The placement for this is good but you will get the placement or not it depends on your knowledge and skills you have. So many companies will came to our college such as Wipro, Accenture, Google, Microsoft and so more Around 50 percent of the students will get placement. My plan after getting the degree is I will apply for the job if I will get it then I will do the particular job otherwise I will go for masters.

Availability of stationary, provides with printp=outs and other things
Availability of canteens for having snacks
Availability of common room for practicing various cultural activities

Dislikes

The distance from my home and limited mode of transportation
Due to large distance its usually time consuming
Sometimes due to traffic it gets difficult to reach

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college is very decent. Its niether too bad nor too good. If a students is skilled enough he or she will definitely get a an on campus placement. Current package wasof 13 Lakhs (on campus).

An overview of my college

Likes

our college has a girl:boy ratio as it is of 1:15 the no. of boys is more in the campus
I do like the basketball court it is a rubber court which is good as the shoes and ball does not loose the grip.
The infra structure of this college is also good with many flowers and trees covering the entry with 5 different building with different departments in them.

Dislikes

The water cooler facility is bit off in some of the department building which is a very big drawback as the water from those cooler doesnt tastes good
the volleyball court is bit off too as it has a tree around it makes it hard to play the game usually the ball always goes and hit the tree

Placement Experience:

The students from the 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. I havent got much info over the companies visited to our campus as I am just a 1st year student but the comapnies i know that have visited till now are TCS and DEVTECH offering a intership placement package of 5-10k. According to the review I heard form others the placement cell provides a package of around 4-5 LPA.

A genuine review about the college

Likes

The classroom is air conditioned and has projector
The faculty of each subject is very understanding. There teaching styles is really awesome
The canteen, stationary provided by the college in the campus and the event done by the society

Dislikes

Sometimes the holidays the given by ipu is not given to our college
Sometimes when the lecturer forget the attendance the ERP doesn't allow to take the attendance again and the ratio of increasing of attendance and decreasing is very unbalanced
The area surrounded by the campus has no medical shop or any shop nearby for emergency

Placement Experience:

From the 4th sem we are eligible for the placement. Recently tcs came to our college campus and josh technology always comes at our placement drive. There are many other companies as well. The highest package is 54 lakh. Almost 75% people get placed in our college. My plans after degree is to get a job and keep exploring tech field. And also prepare for the abroad studies

The department regularly invites industry proffesionals and academic experts for guest lectures, workshops and collaborative projects.
The deep subject knowledge combined with assignments and commitment to teaching and mentorship creates an enriching environment for the learners

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are quite decent especially in top branches like CSE, AI&ML and AI&DS. The average package for CSE/AIML/AIDS ranges between 14-20 LPA. College also supports students with internship opportunities, placement training sessions and alumni guidance.
