THDC Institute of Hydro Power Engineering and Technology Garhwal Placement 2026: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

There is very little chance of being placed in our college. Our seniors were lucky as THDC decided to recruit 2 of them. For us there were not much. Only Yamaha MSIL was available that too as pool campus in Graphic Era. But they only selected 1 student as rest were from Graphic. So a PSU may come and pick 2-3 students sometimes but rest are khud k bharose. Some students opt to work in ColoredCow, a company part of Incubation at our college.they offer no salary for 6 months and then pay around 25k-30k. Others either prepare for govt. exams or go to job in Dehradun, Noida and Bengaluru on their personal contacts.

Students can take placement from their 3rd year.but there is no much companies which are coming in our college. A few companies are coming which are TCS and infosys and BSNL ,info pie etc. There are only 30 percent students are placed per year. My plan after my graduation is preparing for government exam.

There is no very good placement oppurtunities and no good internship offers. But many of students cracks the internship and placement through the offcampus. Becouse In the college only 3,4 company visits.

students are eligible for placement and internship from 5th sem . there are various companies that offer their seats to students like bharat electronics , coloured cow , infosys , THDC etc . average salary offered is starting from around 3.5 lkh per annum .

From 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. In reality no good companies like TCS, Infosys, HCl come here for recruitment. For sake, even no mass recruitment is done. Last year in cse only 10 students out of 60 got placement of 3lakh per annum job offer in only four company.

Students become eligible for campus placement after completing first year of their college . Companies that visit THDC are coloured cow, HCl Tata, THDC limited, etc. The average package is usually like 2.5 Lpa and highest can go up to 6 to 11 lpa. 50 % students are only the one gets placements. My plans after graduation to do coaching for government exams.

There is very few on campus placement in this college . Although many students got placed in off campus placement. 4th year students are elegible for campus placements . Not well recognised companies visit our college . But if you go for off campus placement then you can find companies like Mahindra and tata recruiting students . 70% students got placed at my time . My plan after getting the degree is to find a stable job and wark as hard as possible to achieve my goals .

Due to the far location of the college in the foothills of the Himalayas and its location far away from the cities, very few companies visit the campus. The students have to go off campus to grab an internship or job opportunity. Last year PIE Infocomm visited the campus and took 12-13 students at a package of around 2-3 LPA. One senior also grabbed a package of 7LPA from Infosys last year and some also grabbed job opportunities from TCS, etc. This year the highest package is of a 4th-year senior and that is 13 LPA, this year also some students grabbed Job opportunities from TCS, etc. The average package in the college is around 3LPA. The placement percentage is roughly 5%. But if you are having the latest skills you can easily grab a good package off-campus. Some students usually prefer to do M. Tech. from good colleges and then having a good job. I am not planning to do M. Tech and will prefer a good job over it. There are some seniors who cracked GATE and are in IIT B, IIITD, NIT, etc.

Placement are not so good as the college is in a remote location some get it from the campus but the major number of students get placements from off-campus placement The highest college placement for breach is now around 3 lac There is percentage deciding criteria if you got the skill you got the placement via interview. My plans after the degree would be clearing a govt. Exam

First of all, no in campus placement is there in college. Approx 3-4lakh yearly package had given to the students. The highest package is nearly about 10-12 lakhs and the average is about 3-4lakhs. The percentage is quite lower and is nearly about 10-20% which is damn low! I will definitely be looking for a further degree and going to learn about white hat hacking.
