MDI Murshidabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

As an MBA college, the college offers both internship and final placement opportunities. For a batch size of around 120 to 140 students over the course of 2 years, the average stipend is around 10k to 12k whereas the average final placement is around 8lakhs.

The placement process is run efficiently by the hardworking members of the placement committee of the college. MDIM being one the top tier 2 colleges of the country attracts lots of brands like SBI, KPMG, Jio Creative Labs, JSW, PWC, etc.

The placements are really promising as per the data available on the website. The average placement is around 10.5 Lakhs whereas the median goes to as high as 110.5 Lakhs. The highest package offered was around 21 lakhs in an ed-tech company. The employment opportunities are good, the only constraint is you should be able to clear the interview process.

Campus placements are 100% and the reports are audited so there is no chance of bragging about the figures. Avg placement Rs 10.5lacs and the median is Rs 11.2 lacs. With placements going on the higher side depending on the caliber of the students.

Students become eligible for placement from the Second year onwards, the average package for the 2020 batch stood around 10 Lacs per annum. The highest package that year was 21 Lakhs. My plan after getting the degree is to get into a good Business Analytics role.

Students can appear for final placements from trimesters 5 and for SIPs from trimesters 2. Companies that visit for finals including ICICI, SBI, Tech Mahindra, Aditya Birla, Collegeduniya, KPMG, PWC, etc., and for SIPs like Airtel, JSW, Moodys, Emami, SkillLens, JCL, etc. The final placement report is not out yet and is still under process. Most all get placed in SIPs and Finals. I want to pursue my career in the marketing domain.

College provides campus final placement and summer internship as well. This year 100% of the students were placed for a summer internships with reputed companies like Moody's with satisfactory stipends, final placement report for the batch 19-21 is not yet published.

4th trimester onwards company will start coming to the campus for placement. Airtel, Jio, OYO, KPMG, TATA, SBI Life, ICICI, Linde, HDFC, Federal Bank are some of the main recruiters on the campus. The highest Package was 21 Lacs and the average package was around 10.5 Lacs as no company below 6Lacs of CTC is allowed to participate in the recruitment process. 100% placement is always achieved on the campus. I will also get placed from the campus itself.

Because of the pandemic, the placement has yet not been wrapped up. However, many students got exciting packages but the final report for the current batch is yet to be published. Placement season 2018-20 witnessed recruiters majorly across sectors such as BFSI, Consulting, IT Services, and Logistics & Supply Chain with 100% placement in record time. the highest package offered was 21LPA, an average package of 10.5 LPA and a median of 11.1 LPA.

Placements: 1st talking about the summer internship, every student gets placed during the summer internship and some students opt out and find their own internship too. It offers pretty decently as far as a stipend for the internship is considered. Final placements are pretty good as 100% of students get placed and it starts in the month of December and goes on until march till all students get placed. The highest package went upt 21L and the average salary is 10.5L
