The faculty members are so cooperative,they always come to class at right time,try their best to understand the students their topic ,and helps them to acquire a good marks in the examination,they provide notes also.
Campusing is good various companies come to give you a job..placement is overall good if you study well you will get medium to high paying job easily.
There is beautiful library in the campus and we can spend our free time in the library admire the subject we want to focus more.

Dislikes

The campus placements are low according to the market and inflation.
Hostel maintenance is very bad and my warden is also very bad they didn't take any decisions lots of students feel very lonely.
We have to face lots of difficulty in finding internship college does not help or give us any knowledge regarding this .not so innovative technology in college and nobody helps .

Review of JIS college of engineering

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of this college.It is good looking
Hostel is also good in infrastructure I like it
The teaching staffs are very kind and supportive

Dislikes

The food is not satisfactory some times it's bad in taste
Classes are irregular sometimes else is good
Water in the hostel is not clean it is unhygienic

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good in itself but sometimes teachers fail to make us understand things and we have to learn it ourselves from YouTube, Google of somewhere else. The syllabus never gets completed on time so you have to study by yourselves only.

The college campus is good according to me.
College and department faculties are very supportive.
Extra curricular activities, clubs and events happens regular basis.

Dislikes

Strict attendance system for each and every student.
Not much advanced labs. Labs should be updated.
There is not enough opportunity for internships before placement.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is moderate. From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Starting from the final year campus placement starts. Many well known companies visited for campus placement like Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, HCL Tech, EY, rtCamp , TCS and many more. No of offers is not fixed. College always says 90% placement but the placement rate is about 60-70%. After getting the degree I'll opt for placement.

College campus and staff locality where it is situated
You will get all departments with proper facilities
All teachers and staff are supportive and caring

Dislikes

Mechanical lab should be more equipped and modern
CAD classes syllabus should be improved like need to add some more drawing in their syllabus
First language should be English so that no problem will occur for non Bengali students

Placement Experience:

Campus placement offers from 6th semester I think.. college management should approach core company like civil mechanical and electrical not should only focus on It compines like tcs and tech Mahindra

About our college

Likes

The faculty here is very nice with supportive nature and helpful gesture.
The infrastructure here is very nice with 7 buildings of the academy and 2 hostel one for each.
The laboratories here are highly equipped with best equipment for the students.

Dislikes

Teaching style is not very understandable sometimes.
Canteen here is not very good in terms of cost as per the quality of food served.
Lift in the buildings sometimes don't work very well and causes problem sometimes.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements for the students begins from the 7 th semester . The companies that visit this college are TCS, Accenture, WIPRO, etc. Percent of students getting placed is based upon the skills of the students. I plan to get placed from this college after the degree.

I like the huge infrastructure of the campus and the others facilities are quite good
Like the way of teaching and faculties are helpful

Dislikes

I don't like that the canteen doesn't have good choices and food
Websites glitch often so its may problematic sometimes

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements in the college specially more for Streams like computer science and Information technology and electronics and communication...but there are also som on campus placement available for Streama like biomedical or electrical . But if it's doesn't work out you may always go for off campus it always works.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to review for the college.

Likes

The facilities provide by the college is very good for all the student.
The social interaction was always done within the faculties.
Here all the teacher are very supportive and helpful for the students.

Dislikes

Mainly tour facilities are not available.
There are so many problem of language and culture
The quality of food was not good at the hostel.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 6 for betch students and semester 3rd for the MBA students become eligible for campus placement. There are so many companies visited in college and the highest package of the college is 27 lakh jaspay and the lowest package is 4 lakh.

Ground Reality

Jis college of engineering offers diverse range of courses across various disciplines to cater to the evolving need of students and the industry.It provides UG and PG program in engineering, technology,and artificial intelligence and various industry
Jis college of engineering provides Lab-oriented classroom with computer embedded laboratory
It boasts a strong placement record with a dedicated training and placement cell .

Dislikes

Mandatory 75% attendance is like school culture.It should be 50%.
Some faculty are specialized in one domain but they forced to teach other subjects in which they are not mastered.
Campus area is not that big as government college

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements and placement training started from 6th semester. Microsoft higher one or two students from our college and placed but no offers made after training period. Average packyis around 3-5 LPA and the last highest package is around 12 LPA. Don't know the company wise placement details as I am third year student. Above 90% of students placed in campus placements. My plans after getting a degree is to acquire a decent LPA job .

The college a flipped classrooms facilities which I like the most.
The college a provides good placement opportunities.
The college faculties are very much helpful for aspiring us in any field of interests.

Dislikes

The playground is little much compact, if multiple games happens same time.
The canteen is untidy, and not much kind of canteen menu is there.
The playing equipments of common room for boys doesn't replaces or renovates to new one.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the course is well comprehensive and well explained. The college provides good lecture lengths of about 50 minutes which is much enough to buckle up the syllabus. Sometimes for certain reasons the classes doesn't helds but that's not big deal, as students are very much focused to self study and class notes are also very relevant.

Our college campus is so good, it is a green campus. Inside the college a large playground is also present where cricket, football, basket ball
Our college have flip classes, where you can share your problems with the teachers without any hesitation.
All the faculties are very responsible for our career, they always helped you in any situation. Even they informed you about upcoming internships.

Dislikes

College canteen is not well maintained. There some changes is needed.
Seats and doors of some classes are broken. It is needed to change.
College wifi is limited and provide us too low data (34mb).

From our college every year 85-90% students get placed with average package of 6.5 LPA. Those students who are get 8 cgpa only they are getting a chance to seat for placement. Wipro, Tech Mahindra, TCS , Infotech, Infosys, HCl , Cognizant, Capgemini, Amazon, Flipkart, PNB, Alahabad bank etc. are coming for placement.
