Ground Reality

The course curriculum at jis college of engineering is highly relevant and comprehensive, aligning with current industry demand and technological advancements. Areas of improvement include regular curriculum updates , interactive teaching methods, and encouraged new tech oriented program like Artificial intelligence,soft skills training and research opportunities. Exam are conducted periodically, balancing theoretical and practical assessment and designed to challenge and evaluate students comprehensively.

Don't know the exact but some of students offered a internship.my friend from BBA in hospital management doing internship in some kolkata hospital about 3 months internship period. Some of my Batchmate studenyare placed for an internship like in 3rd year two students from my class is opt for internship in Israel.

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements and placement training started from 6th semester. Microsoft higher one or two students from our college and placed but no offers made after training period. Average packyis around 3-5 LPA and the last highest package is around 12 LPA. Don't know the company wise placement details as I am third year student. Above 90% of students placed in campus placements. My plans after getting a degree is to acquire a decent LPA job .

Fee structure includes tution fees, services fee, and other compulsory charges with annual cost for UG programs ranging 150000 to 200000. Tution fees are typically reviewed and may increase by5-10% annually. The college offers various scholarships, such as merit-cum-means-based , needed-based and government scholarship like west bengal Merit-cum-means scholarship and Swami Vivekananda scholarship. Student are also engaged in campus employment opportunities, including part-time jobs , assistant roles and research assistant position, which provides stipend and practical experience to help offset education costs.

In jis college of engineering two main festival are organised every year one is TechFest and another one is cultural fest . Tech fest organised is the month of December and culture fest is like Feb or March and it's is tentative chenges every year. Varieyof Books and journals are available the library and you can access it anytime during college period. Facilities are available for tech oriented also provides digital libraries and computer centre . Various extra curricular activities are offered in the campus like sports ,dance ,art music ,coding challenge and many more . Any grouping and clubs are prohibited in the campus you join group for projects or study based only.

The admission process at jis college of engineering involves filling out an application for on the college website, with a fee around 5000 to 10000. Eligibility requires a 10+2 education with a minimum of 69% aggregate in PCM. Admission is based on entrance like WBJEE or JEE MAIN with cut off score varrying each year. Reservation benifits are available for SC/ST, OBC and economically weaker section. At jis college of engineering, the faculty -to-student ratio is designed to ensure personalized attention and a conductive learning environment.For Lab- Oriented classthe ratio is 1:30 and for theoretical the ratio is 1:60 . Faculty are highly qualified,with many holding advance degree from reputed institution.The faculty approach to teaching emphasizes a blend of traditional lectures, hands-on projects, and modern pedagogical methods ensuring a holistic learning experience. Interaction with faculty members is frequent and encouraged. Students can approach their teachers in any free time in college as well as you can contact non-office time on call or whatsapp.
