IN AND OUT ABOUT COLLEGE (VNR)

Likes

faculty co-operation for students in time of exams, projects and other academic events.
Many cultural events and extra curricular activities and Hackathons are conducted in the college
It is good to have even sports meet , they encourage the students in games too

Dislikes

the college canteen food is not good and very overpriced according to the quantity
the college will face very problems during events for parking
in rainy season the ground staff will not care about the ground and enable to play.

Placement Experience:

in our college the placements are good but you can not expect in a core company with good package but you can expect in IT industry eith good package.in our college the highest package is 97 lakhs and lowest is 3.5 lakhs.my plans after degree is to do MS.

Review on VNRVJIET, a btech college

Likes

Has ground to play, encourages sports and allows to play with other colleges. Currently sports are going on in our college. Many other colleges also participate in the event.
All the lectures are Doctorates. They can clear your doubts . As eee has 2 sections. You can even clear your doubts with other section staff too.
Many events are conducted related to education. Like hackethons, training programmes in related branch. Some social groups like Student Force conducts blood donation camps.

Dislikes

Not very good infrastructure. Feels like fine.
Hostel is far from the college. You need to come by bus which is provided by college itself.

Placement Experience:

Placements are huge for CSC and allied branches. Comming to core like mechanical, electrical, civl are less . But you can get job in it sector by learning the CSC related content. Deloitte, bluestar, TCS, Infosys, tech Mahindra, Accenture, Schneider, global logic etc

My things at college

Likes

Campus is very good like the places and all
Faculty are very friendly and cooperative supporting
Good campus construction and canteen is also very neat

Dislikes

In rainy season there is so much flow near ground

Course Curriculum Overview:

You can crack your exams very easily but if you wants to build your future outside the campus that preparation is different . Difficulty level is not that high you can crack them even with one night batting

Likes

Campus environment for learning and growing.
Clubs like drawing and painting, dance club and singing club . It also have an ISOI club like helping hands
It’s priority towards the students extra curriculur activities outside the studies.

Dislikes

It does it provide internships outside the college.
Cutting off trees for building more blocks .
Less priority towards other backward classes.

Placement Experience:

I'm from EIE branch , we got less placements due to the more priority for IT sector for CSE students. U think more and more placements should be offered for other electronic branch students also go get more name from all other colleges.

Placements are very good here and also companies arrive here are good
Sports facilities are very good here and infrastructure also good
Affordability of fees for the people got seat

Dislikes

Affordability for the people who didn't get seat
Less number of hloidays for semester and more working days
The curriculum is more towards writing records

The average package is around 8 lakh and highest is around 97 lakhs and the placements also depends on the branch that you are in decent companies arrive here like Amazon cognizant deloit and Microsoft Infosys also hiers in bulk

The curriculum in my domain is good and it is very useful in real world . This curriculum helps me to solve the real life problems . The teaching methods are also good the faculty explains the course in very understandable way .

VNR Honest review

Likes

We had many clubs and student chapters, where we learn many things by choosing our favourite ones.
Due to course work we made projects as a part of academics.
We had opportunities to be free to do anything academically and technically.

Dislikes

Comparing to iits and nits less opportunities.
Faculty are a bit strict only some of them.

Placement Experience:

Now currently I'm in 3rd yr 1st semester. Mostly as our seniors said, placements will be started from 3rd yr 2nd semester and continued upto 4th yr ending. Highest package would be around 40-50lpa. Average package would be 6-8lpa.

I had improved so much than intermediate
My connections are increased after joining in vnrvjiet.
So faculty members are well teaching and some will be teaching some what better

Dislikes

Labs and infrastructure are some what better only
There are so many Things that i had disliked
There are no fests in my college only one fest is there

College Life at VNR VJIET: Pros, Cons, and Everything in Between

Placements-In VNR, placaments rate is high or very better than other colleges in hyderabad. They start from second year onwards with JPMC
Hackathons-There will be presence of continuous hackathons getting conducted and previous year, our college was the nodal centre for smart india hackathon.
Events- Our college organises both technical as well as non technical events in huge and there are lot of clubs through which students can get chance to interact,network and show their talents.

Dislikes

It would be better if more practical sessions will be conducted
More number of theoritical classes which makes boring

Placement Experience:

Placaments in VNR are very good when compared with other colleges in hyderabad.From 2-2 semester, placements will be started and the first placement will be from JPMC company. And after this, they will be continued in 3-2, companies like TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, IBM visit the college. Highest package is 1 cr which is an international placement by Juniper company which is off campus. Average package is 7 LPA. Percentage of students getting placements is 90%. My plans after this degree is to work in a company either getting selected through oncampus or off campus

Likes

Firstly girls and boys will be treated equally, which i like personally. They encourage participating in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
I like my campus life and interacting with different kinds of people especially seniors who always provide a helping hand and give insights.
Faculty will be pretty good experienced and teaching methods include one-to-many discussions, chalk and board and ppt presentations

Dislikes

College campus area could have been a bit more bigger for which we are helpless but could have been nice
getting permissions from HODs would be a difficult task sometimes for any events or other activities.
course curriculum isn't much flexible like many subjects especially important ones are being placed in single semester which becomes a challenging task for us to study

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester or sometimes from 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Number of companies have visited our college for placements which include TCS, JP Morgan, Genpact, and many other which can be found in college official website. highest package this time is around 50LPA offered by one of the famous Multi-National Company.
