The college also provides scholarships for extraordinary students who were best in academic excellence.
Every year the college celebrates xavier fest with a new and unique theme all students enjoy the fest joyfully, availability of books in every department there is a library where you get all the good books for your course
Me i think xavier's is best and yes of course you should surely enroll here

Dislikes

College canteen was not so good and tast of food was not nice
It comes to placement, college have a war record. only 20 to 25% of assistant got placed from the campus and that 2 at a very low average package.
Teaching are not that good some teachers are great but most are not that helpful

Students who are engaged in campus life are more likely to perform well academically.,the opportunitstressy and facilities provided.
The experiences gained from college whether from education,extracurricular or recreational
The friendliness of teachers and how well they helped with doubts,the dedication,expertise of professors and staff members are good.

Dislikes

Stress for students,which can be due to factors like large syllabus,long hours,, students may experience homesickness.
The semester grading system can be stressful,college costs too much.
Students may fear failing in class and students may have financial concerns while in college

What I thought about a college its here .
Experienced and cooperative teachers and also seniors were so friendly as well
As this college is the best college in ranchi , but charges and fees structure sucks , there are so many unnecessary funds charges included in my fees

Dislikes

Fees structure sucks so bad and on verification
They used to ask for medical certificate every year
Uniform rule is not good this is a strict college

I've choosed bsc stats for good jobs as this course lands you in field of data scientist which is one of the highest paid jobs over the world. There are practical classes as well where our teachers teach excel, SQL , python .

A Detailed Review of Our Local College

Likes

most of the faculty members are helpful, study course are well organised.
class timings are organised very well which give us time for self study and doing other stuffs .
classrooms are big enough for 100 students, campus area is clean, commuting to college is easy as it's located at centre of city.

Dislikes

not getting enough exposure through the college as most of the people we find are within the state .
strictness is like school, nitpicks very little things.
campus is big but not big enough for exploration.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester the students can decide to take in internships and take a break from the semester or do internships during long breaks given by college. many design companies have visited and made offers . highest would be 4.5lpa and average would be 1.5lpa 30 percent are getting placed . my plan is to do an masters program .

THE XAVIER EXPERIENCE

The college campus is well cleaned and defined
There is a cafeteria in our college which gives you the rich (rahis ) vibe
SPORTS FACILITY IS GOOD BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO SECURE YOUR PLACE BY YOUR OWN IN ANY SPORTS

Dislikes

In statistics course of 2024-28 batch there are only 17 students in 60 seat . Clearly no competition in entrance exam for statistics course
The ratio of boys will be more than the girls
Faculties are helping but again you will have to do things on your own don't rely on the faculties

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had actually two options to choose after my 12th that is 1.maths. 2.statistics as I am more interested in mathematics field so I started doing some research on these two subjects and I found that it you want to go in the teaching line then you must opt mathematics and for research field also but if you want to have job in your earlys then you can opt statistics as It will open both the corporate and government sector for your job and if you higher studies in this course ghen you can go upto data scientist if you have skills or else there are several government posts like statistical investigator from (ssc CGL ) and iss (Indian statistical officer) from upsc government exam

All about St. Xavier's college Ranchi

Likes

The faculties of the college are very nice. They have great knowledge. The laboratories have all the essential equipments for all the course experiments to be conducted. Every classroom is having a smart board which helps in effective learning.
I mostly spend my time in classrooms and laboratories because of classes. In my free time I chill with my friends in college canteen and game room.
The faculties are very knowledgeable and experienced. The central library is big and have high quality content books.

Dislikes

College campus is a bit small. We can't get personal space to chill out with friends

As the session started late so we have less time to complete the syllabus but it will be fixed after one semester. Teachers don't go very fast in order to complete the syllabus they focus on that the students are understanding the lectures delivered. The frequency of exam is ok 2 in one semester. Difficulty of exam is moderate to hard

I like the teaching methods which taught by our professors. As a history professor they commonly use maps, slides,etc. ratio of my class boys are only 40% and girls are 60% in my morning batch. history department teacher are very helpful.
Professors always encourage us. And help us to improve our personality.
Campus of st. Xavier's college Ranchi is very clean.

Dislikes

Fees of master course is very high for students who is coming from middle class .
History department should introduce placement for history student.
Cafeteria should decrease there price they are very high as per quality.

I choose history because I have interest in knowing history. Day by day teaching methods of history department are getting more and more advance. Professors are very clear with there subject that's why the teach us very easily and we adopt it very fast.

The college is good in every aspect.includin infrastructure.
The teacher is well educated but some is not cooperative
I think Girls ratio is more than boy. Most of the people are locals

In our college 75% attendance is compulsory
Fee of reappear examination is very high.
Teachers are not cooperative too much ...

Exam is conducted between gap of six month in every year and mid sem is also conducted after the start of new semester.the questions paper is slightly moderate in end semester .Ell is the area to improve the course

Discipline , punctuality and many other thing
Excellent ,most of them are cooperative,good and helping nature
All are excellent in their own field and also having good behaviour

Too much noise because of their lacation
Not having big playground to play ,scarcity of equipment
Over crowded,sometime information was not provided early

I liked the Campus size and the faculty’s.The faculty’s are very knowledgeable and hardworking in nature

Dislikes

I disliked the fact that the quality of students over the year in my college has gone down and that’s a problem because the environment is not very good

Placement Experience:

Companies don't often come for placements because as we all know that it's a non teachincal degree.My personal plan is to do MBA after my graduation and get into a good college and I am preparing for that.The placement percentage is think only about 10-15 percent

St. Xavier's College to start your career.

They faculty members are very good they teaches very well if we compare them with any other colleges then , they are best.
There was compulsory attendance percentage of 75% needed which helps the students to attend the class daily and to be sincere in there studies.
They provide good campus facilities canteen, ground to play , indoor play space , computer labs and many more things.

Dislikes

Some teachers not respect students. This is what I feel bad.
There is discrimination between SC ST and general students because the college is more of sc st tribes so they consider them mostly.
If you got attendance back in any subject then tell will not able to give you the exam's whatever you do then also tell will not consider.

Placement Experience:

There was campus placement in our college with a average package of around 2-2.5 lpa which would help you to start your career and get some expertise in your career and in practical life . After completion of the course you will be added to a group of placement and from there only you will able to apply for the jobs whichever comes and in which you are eligible and which suits you right.
