The college also provides scholarships for extraordinary students who were best in academic excellence.
Every year the college celebrates xavier fest with a new and unique theme all students enjoy the fest joyfully, availability of books in every department there is a library where you get all the good books for your course
Me i think xavier's is best and yes of course you should surely enroll here

Dislikes

College canteen was not so good and tast of food was not nice
It comes to placement, college have a war record. only 20 to 25% of assistant got placed from the campus and that 2 at a very low average package.
Teaching are not that good some teachers are great but most are not that helpful

The pros and cons of SXC , ranchi

Likes

The college must be introduced some activities like cricket tournament, arranging fests regularly
The college environment is very good most of the students are very interactive.
The mentor and faculties of this college is very good , and supportive

Dislikes

The infrastructure of this must big more big so , more student can get a chance to enroll
Placement opportunities is very less , and average package is also very low around 2.5 - 3 lakh per annum
75 %Attandance is compulsory, or if we sort by 75 % then we are not allowed to give exams

Our course curriculum is very much related in this digital world the business is also growing and expanding so For expanding any business people need advertising and marketing. Advertising and marketing is industry.

St. Xavier's college Ranchi is best in some ways because it gives platform to students to improve there skills in every field like painting, singing, dancing, rangoli, science exhibition,etc in every occasion they organise compitition in those fields
Students has to be fearless that way the organisation speech and debate competition so that the knowledge they have they can show it in any competition. And that stage fear from which maximum students are suffering can be solve.
We see in college abhivykti group that always come with a power and with knowledgeable skit and also with the thought of how to uplift the social condition of people. In holidays they collect there on money to help poor people buy providing them food

Dislikes

The most I dislike about college is - when each semester is of six months we study less than six months except holidays and in the end of semester our course are not completed
Like I belongs to history department so as a history student we need to see historical place and it's college work to take us on trips in historical place.
We pay yearly fees so I don't want to pay fee for per semester exam because in fee structure they mentioned them and then taken the fees starting during periods semester admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love to know the past. How everyones present decide there future and make a beautiful past for themselves and a good learning for other. To know how in ancient when people don't know anything they try and try and now human is most intelligent creature on planet. In small towns I show arts stream seems as a weak subject people think students who got less number should study only arts but the thought is wrong and I want to change it.

Faculty are good and padhate bhi bht aacha h sir and madams
Fees structure is really appreciating as it has very affordable fees
And mainly its autonomous so aache holidays mil jate h

Dislikes

Canteen food is worse so agar bht bhuk lgi ho toh hi jao
Washrooms kafi dur mei h nd jakar wapis aana 5min mei is difficult
Koi extra activities kch hoti nhi h freshers bhi nhi hota kch mei participate krne se attendance issues ho jyenge

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main thing that would pursuit me to choose the college is that it is autonomous and is affiliated by Ranchi University and it has a good name in Ranchi and according to me, we are my family need that I stay close to them, whether it's for studies or for anything, so it's the best place for me to study with high concentration and all, but the only con is it does not provide girls hostel, but on the other hand, large amount of girls hostels are situated near the college and The college has a nice location, which is at the main road, which is a nice and middle place of the town. The convenience is easy.

Campus is full of trees and potted plants.
Some teachers are very helpful regarding study matters.
The offices are readily accessible for various requirements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good for Net Ph.D aspirants. But teachers need to be more well-versed in their topics. A teacher would blatantly say that he has never studied this topic, so, he doesn't know. He would ask the students to think more than himself and never completed his syllabus on time.

The blooming campus of SXC Ranchi

Strict discipline - College has discipline like the kind observed in convent schools. This is an area that is uncompromised. There's strict security at the gate. Students are required to dress up in their respective department uniforms.
Facilities for sports and extracurricular activities - there are facilities for various outdoor and indoor sports. College fest is amazing. There's drama club , reading club and others. Youth parliament is organised. Seminars are held.
NCC, NSS , Rotaract experience is amazing. We also have different student organisations which conduct blood donation drives, pad bank distributes free sanitary pads in rural areas.

Dislikes

Absence of a political student union - we only have a student council which is completely apolitical
Super strict rules regarding attendance. It's difficult to even attend other college fests if you've taken prior leaves. There's 5 marks alloted to each paper with respect to attendance. Below 75% attendance and you fail the paper.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course mostly includes literature in the core papers. It has a certain depth to it as it includes not just British literature but also Indian literature in english and other languages (translated), African literature, dalit literature, etc. It has different elective papers in different semesters which include environment studies, linguistics, translation, mass communication, literary theory( post structuralism, feminism, Marxism, ecocriticism , etc) and others. The syllabus is perfect as per the needs of today's world. Everything that's being taught in the bachelor's forms a major part of the syllabus of different exams like English literature and language papers or optional papers in exams such as UPSC CSE Mains, state exams and UGC NET of course. The syllabus and teaching methods according to me are already good and don't need any changes as of now. Each semester has mid semester exams and final exams and are moderate to difficult.

The professor of the college are fantastic . They teach us in very basic language and make us understand all the topics very easily.
Discipline of the college is also very great everyone talks very politely to everyone and the college hai dress for every courses which removes the unequality between the students
The indoor games area. Our college has an indoor games area which has different games and students can go their in their free time and play games like carrom, chess, table tennis, and billiards.

Dislikes

The classes don’t have air conditioners in it because of which we feel hot.
Canteen food is not very hygienic it can be cause of different problems.
Attendance issue . College is very strict for its attendance 75% attendance in every class in every semester is importent

The course is very good because it gives us the real life learning which is going to directly help us in future and as I have to pursue MBA as my post graduation there also this study will help me. It has two exams one mid sem and one end sem mid sem for core subject and end sem for all subject

St. Xavier college real life experience

The faculties of the college is great. Professors are very supportive and they are well experienced . They explain every topic in very easy language
The discipline of the college s very good. All students are well behaved every one talks in a vey polite way and every one has to wear college uniform which is very good due to which everyone looks equal.
The college campus is very widespreaded. And it is very neat and clean full of greenery everywhere There are trees and plants which also keep the campus cool and it also have a game centre where students in there free time can play indoor games.

Dislikes

There are no air conditioners in classrooms.
No lunch break is given only 5 min break is provided after every class
Buildings and its structure are little old school.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspect of the circulum that influenced my decesion to choose this course was its real world application it teaches us how to deal with the problems in the real life and as I have to do MBA in humar resource so there it will definitely help me. In our college in every semester two exams are taken first mid semester of 30 marks only for the core subjects and End semester exam for all subjects of 70 marks.

The campus itself was beautiful and well-maintained. The facilities, including libraries, gyms, and dining halls, were modern
professors are excelled at making the material engaging through multimedia presentations and class discussion

Dislikes

Parking issue:-For students with cars, parking was a significant problem. The parking lots were not only far from academic buildings

Placement Experience:

The placement package of st Xavier's College Ranchi is near to 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Pantaloons, Reliance, Trends, and Shopper Stop in cities like Ranchi and other companies like LIC , Reliance. Highest package offered was 7LPA and average package is around 4-5 LPA. Approximately 40-50% of students are getting placement. My plans after getting the is to prepare for UPSC examination.

The structure of campus is great. The infrastructure is awesome .

The class doesn't have ac . The classroom is of old type .

After 2 year they send you to companies for internship programme and will make you learn about the programs practically . And about the placement , the college offers well package after your P.G. degree.
