St Xavier's is one of the most renowned colleges not only in India but outside too.I wanted to do bcom and there was no point in going outside my city and spend lakhs of rupees on some other college plus lodging if i could get higher paying jobs if i did the degree i planned to do, from st xavier's.The timings are pretty bad to be honest. But I would not have learnt the things I did, nor make the friends i did, if not for this college. The effect it has on me as a social animal is immense.Being a Xaverian comes with its own bragging rights too. :)

The college is the epitome of the best in india in terms of the bachelor's degree, and staying near parents was a benefit, as I can concentrate on my studies,the problem with going abroad was that I can be negatively influenced and forget my goal.
