Likes

The faculty member are great, they help the students in solving their doubts, they have immense knowledge in fhe subjects, they provide us notes and handouts for better understanding of the subjects, they are really friendly and guide us
One more thing which i liked is our library which is the most beautiful and peaceful place to study in a studious environment.
They also help us to fill several other scholarships from the government like swami vivekananda scholarships etc.

Dislikes

Some of the boring lectures make it difficult to understand the subjects
The most stupid thing is we can go to sports arena only when our morning section timings are that is 6:15 to 10:15 AM , after that we cannot go to Sports arena
Some things are not good like the environment and all

In College Fest Is Done on a grand Level.
Classroom and Campus are fully Centralised AC
Teacher's are Well Qualified And Cooperative In Nature

Dislikes

College Campus Is very Small As It Does Not Sufficient Space

Placement Experience:

For Semester 3 students become eligible for campus placement. Wipro ,TATA Etc are the companies visited for every student 2 placement offers is provided But highest Package is 14 LPA and Average Package is 5LPA . Getting 75% of Students Getting placement My plan to be get placed in corporate life for best of my efficiency

The infrastructure of the college is really nice and premium
There are various recreational activities you can apply for
The annual fest of the college also known as "umang" is stunning

Dislikes

The campus is very small considering the amount of student it has
There are no grounds because of the small campus
The college canteen serves only pure veg food

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum prepares you for the university exams perfectly, although I'd suggest theres always room for improvement but this college does progide a good curriculum for the students to study and achieve their goals

You have plenty of rooms all open and a big library for studying in silence as such no improvement needed.
My engagement with each and every staffs and teachers was very engaging and thr were very helpful and supportive. Professional courses are also taught and proper guidance are provided
Each and every subject was tought with base knowledge and counselling sessions was held every week for each and every students. It has a turf too play cricket football volleyball etc. and a indoor gaming room

Nothing too dislike as it has been a very good college

More than 60 percent of students have bren placed.Wipro and tata steel and many companies has offered jobs to students.Companies have offer 6lakhs package and more than that based on their skills taught by our college.My plans are working with big companies more and some I guess my college have made it possible

Likes

My college offer seperate timing of classes for female students.
All the faculties and teachers are very cooperative. They also give the opportunities of placements.
My college offer amazing infrastructure, amenities, and facilities for all the students and staff.

Dislikes

The thing I dislike about my college is that they had no rules and regulations for dressing and get up of students.
There is no such restrictions for students regarding smoking and chilling outside the college.
They give more preference to the students of their community.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I chose for me has very wide aspects as it gives us so many opportunities related to our future work or job offering. The course prepares me very well to take the experience of banking sector, as this course mainly aims to achieve our goals in the banking sector.

Made a lot of connection and met with a new people
Met a different religion people in this college
Character development and getting to know what's right and wrong

Dislikes

Interiors of the college is too conjusted
Had a great number of students than the capability of hall seating
Talented people got chance but a lot of talent got wasted due to favouritism

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Like TATA,KMPG,DELLOITE,INFOSYS and so on The average package is approx 200000-300000 The highest package is approx 600000-700000 My plan is to continue my study with the MBA program

Student and Campus Life at The Bhawanipur Education Society College, Kolkata.

BESC is a very good college where one not only gets an opportunity to receive quality education, but also gets numerous opportunities to participate in various events and express their skills and talent outside academia.
Faculties are very experienced and helpful. Campus infrastructure is phenomenal. Students here belongs from various backgrounds and inclusivity is evident in the college social life. There are clubs for co-curricular activities and a lot of exposure.
Placement and internship opportunities are good. The college has an amazing book library. Teachers are very supportive and friendly. There is a lot of focus on career advancement through seminars and placement drives.

Dislikes

The canteen food is a bit expensive, hence students often opt for food outside college.

Placement Experience:

Placement drives take place in Bhawanipur Education Society College very often and 4th, 5th and 6th semester students are eligible to apply for these placement drives. Companies like Deloitte, Axis Bank, Indigo Airlines, Wipro, ICICI Bank, Accenture, Tata Consultancy Services, visit the campus for placements. The highest salary package is around 14 LPA and an average salary package of 5 LPA is offered. Around 50% of students have been placed in various companies. I have completed my graduation from this college with BA Sociology Honours, and I have planned to acquire employment in the academic and research field, hence I will do MA Sociology and then get a Phd in Sociology.

the college provides an excellent infrastructure to its students. it offers a wide range of activities that students can choose from.
the environment is very friendly and it has the best canteen
offers great learning opportunity and areas to learn and explore with a lot of collectives for varied interests

Dislikes

nothing in particular except the timings and the space shortage

Placement Experience:

the placements offered by this college is good. they also provide a lot of intership opportunities so that is other deciding factor. other than that we have a lot of interactive seesion from which we can learn a lot.

Had a greater no. Of students than the capability of the hall seating.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom is a general course with no capability to make you a billionaire just by completing unlike mba that can land you a 20lpa job. Mba or anyone degree after bcom is a must. Bcom graduates are nothing more than basic labours.

The teaching methods of this college are really good as the teachers use modern teaching tools like smart boards and laptops. The exams are moderate to difficult. The exams are usually 2-3 hours long.

From semester 6 the students become eligible for campus placement. The placement rate is very low because a lot of students don't get placed. Not very good companies visit the campus for placement. most of the students don't take placement from the campus because they don't offer good salary
