Placement is best quality of my course safety and fire engineering, last year almost everyone got placed and average package went upto 11lpa also many big companies visit our campus like gail, it offers oround 22lpa
Very good qualified faculties all over the campus....especially soe teachers..teachers interact with students in a very good manner ... good friends.
The egrantz scholarship is the main scholarship for the reservation students.it helps to pay the tution fees and we get a small amount of money to our bank account for our expenses.

Dislikes

academically is the campus is very bad don't expect the staff to teach anything they just vaguely go through.
The things i mostly disliked is cusat soe hostels there is no more than thre hostels for soe student's so everyone didn't get hostels and they want to take a room it was very expensive for students.
Faculties are very poor. They are not aware of the subjects they teach.

Cusat Campus

Likes

Cusat Campus life,the opportunity to know many cultures.
Campus infrastructure.campus itself is really beautiful.
Club activities and support provided by them.

Dislikes

Too much party problems . Cusat has many political parties.
Sports facilities are not too good.it could be better.
Lack of auditoriums for conducting programs.

Placement Experience:

Cusat offers great opportunitys for students,cusat has a good placement cell. From sixth semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. There is an average of 12 lakh per year placement offers.

Cusat Soe-Pros and cons

Likes

Good campus life.Due to the large number of students and amazing college fests you can have a nice college life.
Great placements.The placements in main branches like cs/it/ece fire and safety are good.
Decent infrastructure.The classroom facilities are comparitively good.

Dislikes

Involvment of political partiesin in the campus.Strikes are common in cusat.
Teaching is just average or above average
Announcement of exams at a short notice.Exams are sometimes announced before a week or so.

Placement Experience:

The placements in cusat are relatively good.The highest package had been 32lpa.For students of safety and fire,navel architecture etc the average placement itself is 12lpa.Some good companies do visit the college.For cs/it/ec there are good placements too.

The infrastructure if the college is one of the main thing
Here we have a restaurant, 2 canteen and a seperate college mess for all the hostel inmates

Dislikes

I think like every college there are several political parties and strikes

Placement Experience:

The placement offered by CUSAT is one of the best for any engineering student. Major companies are Tata, Amazon, CRED, Flipkart. Last years highest package was 35 lpa for 12 students and has an average of 10LPA for Computer Science

Inventor's paradise - cusat

Likes

Many clubs which focus on making things gives us a practical experience
Food. The food is good at cusat hostels.
It's easy to travel to the campus as it's location is very good

Dislikes

Students are made to wear uniforms inside classroom
Not every student gets college hostel and they need to take pg
First year techers are not that good at teaching

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 6th semester.many companies visited the campus like tata engineering services,mrf,Hyundai and many more.higezt is 25 lpa and average is 6lpa.percentage of students placing are low because of tough exam.i plan to do master after graduation

Cusat campus

Likes

I really liked the ambience in my collage and the perks of being a cusatian .
The labs and classes are really great and there is huge place all around the campus
There are several affordable canteens available for students thereby we can spend less on our daily means

Dislikes

Even though the collage is great but there are many clashes happening between the political parties here .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically I've chosen the Btech Electronics and communication course due the present increment in the department of solenoid engineering etc. And I've also got suggestions from seniors too. The curriculum is well checked and is intact with the atpresent technologies and it is definitely going to help the students for their future . Teaching methods and professors and highly educated and are of high quality knowledge.

I didnt like the college infrastructure. Not much as i expected .class rooms are like common and its not enough for the fee they collect form students . in my first semester we didnt had a proper class
I like the placements of Cusat. Thst the main reason i joined there . almost all students got placements in school of engineering
The faculties are also good . they give proper classes and notes that was really helpful during exams library facility waa also good

Dislikes

The collegw infrastructure . that was a real expectations vs reality moment for me and my friends
The hostel facilities are not that good .
There are many criteria for students to join in hostel .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose btech in electrical and electronics engineering . But I really wanted to study btech in computer science . My rank is not enough for that . So I didn't get admission in computer science engineering .So I took electrical and electronics engineering .For today and future there is big scope for electrical engineers because nowadays all vehicles are becoming electrical because they are releasing very less pollution compared to other normal vehicles .Electrical vehicles didn't need fossil fuels like petrol or diesel for travelling .We only have to charge the vehicle. And electric vehicles are easy to travel and charge .So we have electrical labs for practical works .Exams are also conducted for labs.In each semester we have 2 internal exams for internal marks .It was about 2 hours duration. Semester exams have three hours duration. Compared to internal exams semester exam are more tough.We have no internal exam for laboratories, main semester exams are conducted directly. So the over

Likes

We have a good infrastructure and everything is available in the campus itself
We have several events lasting for about 4-5 days
Skilled and supportive faculties to guide us

Dislikes

Strikes because of political parties is a thing I dislike

Placement Experience:

For IT students you can expect an average package of 8-9 LPA in the initial stage and it all depends on the individual's ability and skill . College provides us a opportunity with many multinational companies

Cusat life

Likes

The campus is very beautiful with great park and lot trees around the campus
The campus buildings and classes are very good
The faculties are very good and they help us to study

Dislikes

There is a lot of political issues in the university
In some buildings the water purifier is not working
Class timing is very tough during the summer season

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from fifth semester.A lot of companies visit the campus for giving placement including Godrej,Google,Gale etc.The highest paid placement are in fire and safety it is like 40 lakh per annum.

The campus life can be very engaging. There used to be a lot of events
Campus on the heart of kochi. If you want to enjoy you can..
Students are very less restricted. And there are also many opportunities outside of academics

Dislikes

Course fee is a bit too much.comparing to other colleges from ktu
The infrastructure is not up to the mark

Placement Experience:

The placements starts coming from 7th sem onward. Some of the companies came are Cisco which offered a 22.lpa IBM, etc.we have a high number of students getting placement. Even though placements are relatively lower after the covid era.

Dislikes

They are too strict with the internal marks
hostels are not enough for students in the university.
even though i have a distance of 190km i was not alloted hostels in 2st year.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year onwards students are eligible for campus placement. Highest package since i enrolled might be in the cs dpt for Rs 40,00,000/- LPA. The labraries are updated with gate question banks and guides for preperations.
