The admission process was based on the result of last qualifying examination. To get admission in in this course, students should clear their Master degree in Earth science, chemistry or Master degree in Material Science with specialization in corrosion science. The students should also have a valid National Level Fellowship like JRF/SRF.

After qualifying my higher secondary examination with 75 percent of marks i got admission in this college. Students should complete their B. Tech/B. E in civil /construction engineering is eligible to get admission.

To get admission in this M. Tech program the students should have completed Graduation with atleast 50 percent marks. Then hey will have to apply and give the entrance exam and based on their merit in the exam, they will be called for the admission.

No entrance is conducted. I was admitted in this college on the basis of my percentage in the CBSE exam. So I didn't have to prepare for any sort of entrance exam. I scored a decent of 70% and could manage to get admission in the college.

As soon as I completed my masters, I decided to continue further with academics with a 3-years full-time Ph.D program. I decided to appear for GATE and acquired sufficient score to enter the college for further studies.

After completing my B.Tech in Civil Engineering with decent marks, I decided to take admission in M.Tech course for further studies. My interest in academics helped me to enter CBRI for a 2 yea full time M.Tech program. The eligibility criteria was graduation.

Admission to a P.hD. program is based on the legitimacy list. The understudies who have qualified the GATE or NET JRF test are qualified to apply for the program.

To get the admission, the candidate has to possess either a CSIR/UGC-Junior Research Fellowship or NET-LS/GATE. They must have completed their M.Sc. with minimum 60% aggregate marks. The list of the candidates short-listed for interview on the basis of GATE or UGC/CSIR NET/NBHM or valid CSIR-SRF and the result will be available on the official website. The interview will be conducted as per the University rules.

CSIR-Central Building Research Institute is a premier research institute of the country providing students a very imperative place and guidance to pursue research and study. PhD Geotechnical engineering is offered by the institution to the students who have post graduation in respective discipline. The students will have to apply and give the entrance and interview ans on same basis, they will be selected.

The institute offers a postgraduate and doctorate course in engineering, technology and science. The faculty is also having good relation with the candidates. Since all the candidates are getting the assurance of placements after their course completion, many candidates opt for this institution.
