Some information about MSI

Hostel Facilities:

The hostels are good, not really excellent. The facilities are basic . They do have electricity the whole time however there can be power shortage for few minutes. The mess food is nice and decent. The annual fee for hostel is around 65 thousand without the mess charges, the mess charges must be paid monthly and separately.

Mess charges are separate. And the food is eatable (obviously mess ka khana will not be excellent) the curfew time is very strict here. For girls it's 7 in the evening. Hostel is very biased on the baises of gender

Facilities provided in the room (Double sharing room). One tube light, one fan, 2 chairs, 2 study tables, 2 single beds without mattresses, 2 cemented cupboards. Meal quality is good. The menu is fixed for a week which is followed throughout the semester. The registration process for hostel and affordability. The Maharaja Mahendra Pratap Hostel provides accommodation to around 200 boys and 100 girls in a spacious and elegant four-storeyed building with all connected facilities. Hygienic and nutritious food is provided at a reasonable cost. One should have to apply for hostel application then if you want to include a/c beds mess food etc then this will manage accordingly to the facilities

Yes I've opted hostel. Rooms are not too big, we were given two beds tables chairs cupboards and thats it, there is no wifi facility available no indoor sports or gym facility available for us. Yes it's sharing, 2 students in one room. There are many PGs nearby they charge approximately rs 10000 per month.

MSI general overview

Yes, double and single occupants rooms, 3 floors having approx 30 rooms in each floor, with one watercooler on each floor. There are no acs or coolers pre-installed. There are two beds, two chairs, two tables and two almirahs in each room.

Yes I opted for hostel. Hostel is okay and not very good. Very small and compact rooms without any proper ventilation system. The rooms are available in twin sharing and single. Also there is no facility of WiFi in hostel as well as college in this modern time. The hostel looks like the 90s hostel with no basic facility. The hostel fees goes annually which is 51000 for twin sharing and 61000 for single. Fees is too much when comparing it with the facilities provided. They should at least provide WiFi networks.

Hostel is there separate for boys and girls with decent infrastructure and rent is cheap. It's easy to avail hostel for outsidersIt's in sharing with 2 people at most and food is also provided.They are very strict with timings and students are not allowed to come in after 6.

College is good for day scholars.

The hostel facility, well to put it pleasantly bad. The rooms are shared by 2 at most, you can also opt for single accommodation. There are no facilities it's just a room with a bed plank and table chair. No WiFi, no A.C., nothing The girl's hostel warden is very unpleasant and rude even to parents and not at all helpful, frequent complaints are made against her. The boys hostel warden is better, way better and quite helpful. You have to pay 3000/- monthly for the mess and it's mandatory of you avail hostel. Food quality is best in August when admissions take place and degrade every month. Hostel fees presently are 51,000/- for 10 months. In which 10,000/- is security deposit (refundable).
