JNMC Faculty

The deemed university boasts a motivated and talented faculty, composed of well-qualified doctors with significant teaching experience. All faculty members have completed their MBBS, with some pursuing or having completed postgraduate degrees. Each subject typically has 8-10 faculty members, with at least 3 experienced teachers available for each of the 19 subjects taught. The medical course spans 5 years, with subjects distributed as follows: 3 subjects in the first year, 3 in the second, 2 in the third, and 11 in the fourth year.

Faculty members are approachable and dedicated, facilitating a strong teacher-student relationship supported by a student mentorship program. This program assigns three students to a faculty mentor who addresses academic and personal issues. Teaching methods include practical, hands-on training, particularly in physiology, ensuring students are well-prepared for exams aligned with NMC guidelines, comprising two part completion tests, two prelims, and a final university exam each year.
