VIT is basically an Engineering school. It ensure arrangements for MBA understudies. Dominant part of the understudies joined their own privately-owned company. Around 10 percent of the understudies sat for positions and the vast majority of them were effectively positioned. The rest either took a break or joined for a Masters course. The highest salary package remains Rs.40L p.a. offered by Google. The college promises placements at high-end MNCs and startups. They also provide internship opportunities for students in the country and abroad as well. In a year average, 10 students undertake internships abroad at leading MNCs in the UK, USA, Japan, and so on.

The placement is pretty good at Ranganathan College. There is a placement wing in the college which caters to the placement needs of the students. Some of the frequent recruiters include IBM, Infosys, Intel, KPMG, Philips India, Samsung, etc. Apart from the placement assistance, placement cell also assists in the personality development of the students. Students from my batch secured packages as high as 40 LPA for International placements.
