University of Engineering and Management (IEM Newtown) Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

We already knew that IEM is a reputated college so when I got to know that UEM is the branch pf IEM so I took admission over here.All the faculties were very cooperative and they take lot of care about there students when studies are concerned.

There are basically 4 to 5 reasons for which I took addmission. As it's a sister concern of IEM I had a clear notion that the quality of education and opportunities in any field would be enormous comparing to any other private college. The proximity of the college to the IT Hub and the much newer IT hubs coming up near to our University. The discipline thing which I really love the most, many of thing might think I am wrong college is only to enjoy and to get job but it's not I think that you should explore all the opportunity. Coming in time, exactly at 9:20 the gate closes and I remember I was once not allowed to enter as I was late by 5 minutes that day I was sad as I missed a lab that day but after that I never came late anywhere. The infrastructure thought it's under development to some extent but it's really great, class rooms are big enough, good water dispenser cold water too, washrooms are cleaned after every shift, WiFi in Library, books in library, the cafeteria is among the best. We don't have Air conditioned labs or class rooms but it's fine. No one is going to disturb you on what you do, be it a research or making a Car for SAE or anything, seniors are helpful, faculties are very very hard working.

One of the best college in Kolkata, and I wanted to pursue engineering too in computer science department so it was the best option which I could opt for as my JEE mains result were not so good that's why I opted for a private university.

Because the college is best for its placement. It has a beautiful campus environment. I am proud to study in this college. Here seniors are very good and helpful. They help a lot in studying. Here professors are very friendly and teaches very good.

It was in state and the facilities were good. Good placement record. Good faculties. Good brand name. Good placement preparation. Lots of extracurricular activities. Had nice discipline

It had great placement history and provided a decent study atmosphere. This college has a good disciplinary protocol and other required facilities for future help in the selected stream. The college is in corporate are with no disturbance in the environment.

They care about the students and placement drives are trustworthy. Seniors are lovely as ragging is strictly restricted here. The way of teaching is even commendable and the best part is they dont select students on the basis of Mark's rather take all with respect to a minimum criteria and treat equally.

I chose this university because here the faculty members are effectively good in teaching, it provides better placements to students, the faculties work really hard to get their students placed.My parents didn't want me to go far so they thought it was a better option. Also i have seniors who studied here so they recommended it to me. I opted for this course because it has got a wide range of opportunities. This course helps u to get placed in IT sectors as well as in its core companies the choice is all yours.

It has been one of the best private colleges in my state, and also, is known for discipline. The faculty interested me too, and ultimately, the state of the art technological availability was also a great factor
