The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

UEMK ONE OF THE BEST PRIVATE ENGINEERING COLLEGE IN INDIA

Remarks:

Positive : It is one of the Best College interms of faculties, seniors, education, research, placement and job opportunity. Negative : No sports, hectic routine, few unnecesy subjects included in the syllabus

Remarks:

It's worth studying in this college, the faculties are very cooperative, and the study environment is the best environment for studying. The laboratories are excellent, they are always equipped with well maintained instruments.

Remarks:

Seeing the current scenario of our country in employment i feel proud to be in uem family as they are preparing students with required skillset they need to claim a job. Very active placement cell is there. Teacher and students relation is very close as i have experienced.

Great college for engineering in West Bengal

Remarks:

There's nothing negative about the college. The college follows extremely strict standards for the students. Coming and going out of the college is only allowed during the specified time. Canteens are available inside the college and we must eat from there (unless you carry your own food) and the quality of the food is decent.

Remarks:

I'd rate my college a 2/5 because it puts too much mental and physical pressure of attendance and syllabus. There are a few faculty members who are making it worse for us students as they demotivate us about being a failure and stuff.

Overview of My college

Remarks:

Overall the college is very good with a good vision towards job for its students.Teachers are very helpful.Seniors are quite helpful too.We thoroughly enjoy our time in college.It would have been very good if the college committee let us out and in whenever we wanted.

It's a good college for engineering

Remarks:

Although the college has tried to give everything to students for their studies, but then also I would recommend few things like digital learning in class, wifi campus and use of digital notes in class to make the college more future proof

Positive:Once you get enrolled to this college,you start the process of getting placed from the very first day,faculties work really hard. Negative:Too strict for a college,you cant leave the college campus once you are in. Too harsh attendance criteria.

Positive remark- Good Education Good Jobs. Negative remark- It doesn't allow to go out from the college any time, even if boring lectures are going on. It takes 2 interals consisting of 70 marks which is way too much as semester is of 4-5 months now.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
