The college campus is quite content. the faculty is somewhat great. the education provided is upto mark.
Scholarship given by college is also a major part for students who want to study but can't afford it.
During the second year of the college students are able to sit for placements and internship and which the review that they have given it is stated that the companies have offered very good offers to the students.

Dislikes

Not their are things i dont like about my college but some small things like not able to use internet in college cause of jamer
Jammer : there are jammer in the college that does not allow mobile network in the college premises. It gets kinda frustrating cause you need to contact people and your call isn't working cause no network and mobile data too
The canteen : the canteen has less seating space as compared to the college students capacity. The canteen also is not soo well maintained by the vendor. The college is still trying to work on it though.

College does provide placements and internships to students ,there is a dedicated committee which handles all the placement process which is placement cell it does all the work and makes sure everyone is placed Many students opt for placement and many of them choose to go for higher studies

Likes

The faculty is great and highly qualified for the practical subjects.
The temple premises in the campus provide positive ambience.
The Canteen has decent food with affordable prices. South Indian food is good.

Placement Experience:

The placements begin in semester 5 i.e the Final Year. The companies which visit the campus include KPMG, BSR LLP Ltd, Deloitte and roles such as Tax Analyst, Forensic Analyst, Transaction Invoice Analyst are offered. Placements are highly competitive and not many get placed. My plan is to pursue higher studies.

Experience is the best teaching

Fests and different types of festivals helps in personality development
Overall structure and college faculty and their response to students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm personally interested in the media as media is the fourth pillar of our country which also helps in keeping the information and helps in studies this course is creative and this course is also based on physical movement and new things to learn in this course

Likes

The college campus is quite content. The faculty is somewhat great. The education provided is upto mark.
The infrastructure is very great and it's easy to navigative once you are used to it.
The placement cells provides very opportunities and the internships are provided too that too paid sometimes

Dislikes

The teachers of IT department are very strict and students get dresscoded even for the basic fitss.
Some teachers just teach for the sake of teaching somehow it feels like not all tho teachers are great tooo
The fees hike is there as it doubled from first to third year

Placement Experience:

The placements are great. The opportunities are plenty .I haven't done any internship but my friends have done paid internship which is great for students. Many companies approach students and internship messages come in the group

SIES College is highly regarded for its academic excellence and diverse extracurricular activities. The faculty members are experienced and dedicated, providing
students with a well-rounded education. The college has a strong emphasis on practical learning, which helps students develop real-world skills.
Moreover the library is also kept clean .

Dislikes

Washroom should maintain property.doors should replace by college of washroom.
It's almost 3 years the construction is going on college.
It's very disturbing and very hard to focus on studies

The exam time is comfortable and frequency is also good like yes we have to write 1 question with in 20 min so yes it's difficult but ya we our in upper class we have to get use to this .I choose this course Bec I personally love watching the tv anchor setting in front of camera n providing news to people.I like advertising field to .

Sies college best all rounder college

Likes

Campus is really great tye infrastructure of the college is good and overall very good college.
The office , classrooms, labs are all well furnished and proper arrangements are made for the students
Teachers are good and very experienced and solves every query easily which is understandable

Dislikes

Not their are things i dont like about my college but some small things like not able to use internet in college cause of jamer
Does not have proper play ground for playing football

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are given to the students regularly and students are informed on WhatsApp group about the placement interviews Package for rs 2.5 lakhs to 3 lakhs are given to the students if they pass the interview Minimum cgpa must be above 5 for placement opportunities I plan to do mba after this degree which would increase the value of my portfolio

Discipline : the discipline in the college was good as it helped induce a atmosphere and environment where one can focus on studies. Especially the library was a amazing place to be as it was quite well maintained and cooler as compared to campus
Extracurricular : the committees and fests that the college has are a great way to get exposure in the college as it helps build confidence and marketing skills along with other specific soft skills. These help one make more friends as well
Placement Assistance : the placement cell of our college is amazing as it provides a lot of assistance and opportunities to the students both in terms of placements and internships. They also help students get concession in attendance if are working

Dislikes

The canteen : the canteen has less seating space as compared to the college students capacity. The canteen also is not soo well maintained by the vendor. The college is still trying to work on it though.

No football ground or basket ball court : the college has a lawn that is shared with the college temple premises and is not used much for sports and the college also does not have a proper girls football team and training area for boys

The Student become eligible for full time employment through the campus placement as soon as they enter the final year.i.e. The third year of college. The college does provide a lot of internships opportunities as well. There are MNC along with banks, IT companies, Audit firms, marketing agencies that come and hire. Big names like KPMG and deloitte, reliance, jio, zouk, colgate, TCS, L&T, capgemini, eClerx, yougov, federal bank, ICICI Lombard, sbi securities, hdfc life, sutherland, resource bridge,

The college now has become an autonomous college and the curriculum designed by the college is around effective development of student
The college has good campus, there are various events held which are fun to attend and very overwhelming
The college provides concession in attendance to students who are pursuing professional courses like CA ,CS,CMA etc

They provide placement but till the extent I know there few companies like L&t , HDFC Bank etc which hire students from our college But at the end of the day it is a B Com degree which doesn't add much value to one's CV nowadays irrespective of where one pursue it from

The committees, it probably has the largest amount of committees in the area which helps us.
The teachers are helpful and engaged with every student
The fest in the college keep the students spirit up.

Dislikes

Lack of time management and non utilisation of college hours.
Security check is pretty weak so the college must actually work on students safety.
Lack of sports infrastructure as the ground is literally nonexistent.

The curriculum is pretty sophisticated to management related topics and subjects but it also include various important subjects which helps in the overall development of student aswell as it helps to maintain a defined group of people which work together for a predefined goal.

SIES Nerul: A students perspective

My college campus life has been tremendous in SIES. With proper classes, ventilation, library, a good canteen area, ample space for students to prepare for their fests and creative work, chilling places, and a lawn.
The course is comprehensive and very relevant as per outside world requirements.
Faculty over here makes effort to go extra mile and impart knowledge more than the books

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell that gives announcement of different internships and placements offered to the students by different companies. Internships and placements are offered throughout the year apart from the campus placement at the end of TY. A high percentage of students have been placed by the college placement cell.
