Seemant Institute of Technology (SIT) offers B.Tech program in five engineering disciplines with an intake of 60 seats in each of the specialization. B.Tech is a full-time program with the duration of four years spread across eight semesters. SIT B.Tech Admission 2024
Seemant Institute of Technology offers B.Tech course in five specializations. Admission to the course will be based on the national level entrance examination, JEE Main. Candidates with a minimum required score in 10+2 with Science stream will be eligible for admission. Candidates may also have to pass the eligibility criteria set for JEE Main.
JEE Main is a national level entrance examination conducted by CBSE. The entrance examination is offered through both offline and online mode. The counselling process will be conducted by UTU based on JEE Main score.

For admission to B.Tech courses in SIT, candidates must apply for JEE Main. Candidates will be allotted colleges on the basis of their JEE Main score and the choice of preference provided by them.
- Candidates must have completed 10+2 with at least 45% in Maths, Physics, & Chemistry/Computer Science.
- Aspiring candidates must clear the JEE Main for admission.
- Admission is based on JEE Main score.
- The counselling will be organized by the Uttarakhand Technical University.
- Preference will be given to Uttarakhand domiciles with 90% seats reserved for them.
SIT Counselling Process 2024
Candidates who clear the JEE Main examination will be selected for the UTU Counselling process.
- Candidates who are allotted SIT will have to submit the relevant documents in the college.
- The appointed Verifying Officer must verify the documents and approve them for the admission procedure to be completed.
- Candidates may also have to pay the required amount at the time of admission.

- JEE Main details – Allotment letter, online registration details, JEE Main Admit Card, JEE Main Score Card (original)
- Copy of Bank Challan for Counselling fee
- Attested copies of X and XII Certificates

SIT Reservation Criteria
- SIT offers reservation for students based on Category, State Quota, and Kashmiri Quota.
- Even though the reservation is offered under various categories, out of the total seats, 90% seats are reserved for Uttarakhand domiciles.
- Only the remaining 10% are for the other candidates.
SIT Scholarships
- SIT provides scholarships for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
- Students must fill in the online scholarship form available on the Institute website.
- Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, Uttarakhand provides the scholarships to the deserving candidates in the reserved category.
