There were about 46 - 50 seats available for the students to got admission in Master of Science (Pharmaceutics) course and it is of 2 year. The college provided admissions to only those students who had appeared in the GPAT and the NIPER JEE examination.
To get admission in this college I had to write an entrance test. It is mandatory for students to pass in GPAT and the NIPER JEE examinations to be eligible to apply in this college. Based on performance in this test admission will be granted.
The basic eligibility for admission in this college is to appear for GPAT and the NIPER JEE examinations and clear them. After this you can apply and at the admission will be primarily based on the performance in the entrance test.
The college was very well in terms of everything. The hostel facilities were good for girls. The campus life was very excited and environment of college was pleasant. The alumni students of our time were helpful and understanding.
The admission process of the course is tough and one needs to work hard to get one. The student must have cleared graduation as well as GPAT and NIPER JEE. I tried twice to clear these exams and get admission. It was hard.
I took admission to this college by clearing NIPER JEE ( National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Joint Entrance Examination ) . The registration for the entrance exam costs around 2000 INR and exam is conducted in the month of July . You can visit the official website of NIPER to follow the cutoff for the college. You can also apply to GPAT to get the admission into this college.
Admission in Ph.D. Programme is based on the entrance exam (NIPER JEE) and interview. A merit list is prepared which is followed by Interview of the eligible candidates. I chose this course because it provides us a centric and systematic pharmaceutical education.
Admission is done on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination NIPER. The eligibility criteria for sitting in the examination is that the candidate should possess degree in any of the following:-
M.S. (Organic / Physical/Pharmaceutical Chemistry); M.S../B. Tech. (Bioinformatics); M.S. (Biochemistry / Biotechnology/Molecular Biology and Microbiology). The examination is followed by counselling.
To get admission in Ms Pharma biotechnology, the student should be a graduate in science with atleast 50 percent marks. Then they will have to give the entrance exam NIPER JEE and based on the score, they will be called for the admission.
Every year, NIPER JEE are conducted all over India and only 16 seats are available for the course. Once I cleared the exam, I got an admission here under general quota. The admission procedure after that was quick and easy.
