Admission process in IIRS follows strict merit based procedures as this a government undertaking. All the applicants should be plus 2 and UG in science major. IIRS entrance exam is mandatory Application has to be sent through post and if shortlisted, candidates should visit the campus for interview.

The institute course structure and facilities they provide us is very great but since it is a training institute, we don't get the full freedom of the normal University, there are CISF (Centralised industrial security force) guarding the institute 24*7.
