The course is excellent. It has all subjects related to earth and geology and how it can be articulated by using technology and scientific methods and quality processes. The course helps to identify principles, concepts and methods with respect to geo information processing and earth observation.
Placement Experience
The institution has a very strong record and reputation is placement. Though there is no formal placement department, the professors and management have very good connections in India and abroad companies that come for recruiting students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
2,40,000 is the academic fees for two years. The total non academic fees like hostel, food, security deposits and academic related activities like study tour and field trips will come approximately 50,000-75,000. We will be paying nearly 3.25 lakhs.

The institution has a very good event management committee which takes care of all sports, cultural and festivals celebrations across the year. Inter university competition organized by the college is interesting to participate.
Admission
Admission process in IIRS follows strict merit based procedures as this a government undertaking. All the applicants should be plus 2 and UG in science major. IIRS entrance exam is mandatory Application has to be sent through post and if shortlisted, candidates should visit the campus for interview.

The professors possess great domain knowledge about the domain and are scholars. They provide guest lectures to many colleges in this domain. The practical knowledge they share using great importance and they have done extensive research for many years.
