Ques. What is the difference between Diploma and Advanced Diploma in French?
Ans. Diploma in French is an intermediate course (one year) for those who have completed the Certificate. Advanced Diploma in French is the highest level (one year) for those who have completed the Diploma. The Advanced Diploma provides expert-level training with specialized vocabulary, business French, and advanced cultural understanding. Students completing Advanced Diploma achieve distinction-level proficiency.
Ques. Can I pursue Advanced Diploma in French if my Diploma is from another institution?
Ans. Yes, you can pursue Advanced Diploma in French even if your Diploma is from another institution. However, you will be required to appear in an entrance test conducted by Bharati College. Admission will be based on merit in this entrance test.
Ques. What is the passing criteria for the Advanced Diploma course?
Ans. Students must secure 50% marks in the aggregate and 40% marks in each paper separately to pass the examination. Students securing 75% marks or more in the aggregate will be awarded distinction. A minimum of 55% attendance is mandatory for examination eligibility.
Ques. What is the attendance requirement for the Advanced Diploma course?
Ans. A minimum of 55% attendance is mandatory for all students. Students who fail to meet this requirement will not be allowed to appear in the annual examination. Additionally, a house examination is conducted in December, which is compulsory for all students.
Ques. When are the examinations held?
Ans. The examinations for part-time language courses are normally held in April/May. The house examination is held in December. Students should note that the college does not take responsibility for adjustment of examination dates if they are pursuing other courses simultaneously.

Ans. Graduates with Advanced Diploma in French can pursue careers as French language teachers, translators, interpreters, international business professionals, diplomats, and cultural consultants. Ques. Is there any refund policy for the course fees?
Ans. Yes, a refund of Rs. 1,000 is available if admission is cancelled before September 1, 2026 (commencement of classes). After September 1, 2026, no fees will be refunded under any circumstances. Students should carefully consider their commitment before paying the fees.
