Here you will receive an nsp scholarship and many other scholarships from the central government of india and in the college placement replacements are very good with excellent packages in very developed mncs
Admission process was easy on first day i came with my parents and done every verification and because of delhi ncr it was ease transportation .
The college having big spacious grounds having physical fitness incharge with high qualification and they are well supportive towards students and they are providing well guidance to students and the clubs are very good

Dislikes

I don't like the hostle fee and facilities as compared to price
Gender ratio of our colleges so bad there is only 5 girls in first year
Fees are about 2,17,000 per annum there is no college scholarship and no financial assistance and yeah more such stuff, the thing about employment opportunities is very low and you should ignore such things so let it be.

Reality

Likes

Classes are good with the facility of Air conditioner
Seniors are good and supportive and guide juniors
There are many plants and greenery in the campus

Dislikes

IIIT Sonepat do not have it's own campus
Very less parties and other cultural activities
IIIT Sonepat don't have labs , only virtual labs

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because i was interested in coding and also Artificial Intelligence will be the booming sector in future.Teaching methods should be improve, there should be labs so that students can easily understand.

Likes

I liked the professors of the college the most as they are very helping in nature and provide us every possible help.
the envirnment of the of the college is very good and motivating for student .
College have very good codding culture and competetive nature in programming.

Dislikes

According to me mess of the college should have the non-veg option too.
ground or area of the college is low which is 40Acers .
their is less things available as college is in village.

The college have a good placement rate of 85% and an average pakage of 17LPA, and a median package of 8LPA. some of the companies visited are Wiproo ,Amazon,TCS,TATA,etc. placement rate of college is 85%. My plane is to getting placed in a company with good package and good working envirnment.

I m first year student here and i already lived for about 10 months here so i can be best for your answers.

Likes

Good opportunities because of mega city delhi
Intelligent group and hardworking people also.
Students are well mannered. Seniors support. Many people are from south also so diversity.

Dislikes

Teachers focuses less on students and papers are hard.
We have college vibes but dont have college 🥺 waiting for permanent college in 2025 .
Food 🤮, they should change mess. Different authorities of college and hostel. o

Placement Experience:

Placements are average . And if you dont get it then try it from delhi there is no other chance as per 2023 placements stats its easy get placed from here. Here 4th here students are at iit delhi technopark and companies visit there so we have less idea of placements but as i asked one sonior he told us placement is going well. And last year our college had a highest package of around 50 lpa. So its good enough. I think more than 80 percent students get placed but i will say you can prefer it from college website.

My college IIIT Sonepat

Likes

Good placement opportunities and clubs for self development.
Greenery inside the campus and cool environment
Intelligent and passionate peer group which helps to grow together.

Dislikes

Not too many trains comes sonepat railway station ,you need to come here from Delhi .
permanent campus is still under construction.
The food quality is above average and can be improved.

Placement Experience:

Students from 6th semester are eligible to sit for oncampus placements. Though the placements are good but if someone couldn't grab an offer from on campus placement , he can look for offcampus too by applying through LinkedIn and various other platform. Percentage of students placed through on campus is 90% My plan after the degree is to settle in Europe.

The Campus Life

Likes

I liked the faculty of college whom are so hard working.
I liked college lab also that availability of all equipments.
The campus provides us many sports playground.

Dislikes

Their will be some minor problems but not as aspect
The college life is enjoyable and happy.
The college has major problem of sex ratio

The campus provides good job opportunities and placement or internships for students. But my plan in future is to become a blockchain developer. So I am studying blockchain and devops for placements. I aspect that college provide placement according to the my career

Life in IIIT Sonepat

Likes

Academic life and faculty is good. Food quality is good in the mess and we get better placement opportunities and plus a tag of being a student of IIIT. Campus life is also good with all the facilities.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good and it is increasing year by year . Last year we had an average packege of 16.51 lacs which is great. Students get selected in reputed companies like Google, Flipkart, Yamaha , Jio and many others. You need to work hard and maintain a good academic score and skill set for grabbing better employment opportunities. Many students also get selected in reputed companies by off campus placement in reputed companies.

Likes

Placement, healthy environment a pretty good coding culture
Placement cell here is very active and glad for that
The coding culture is very good and healthy

Dislikes

Campus life is not good and people here sucks
No own campus, the campus is on rent sadly
Hostels are very expensive and very poor conditions

Placement Experience:

Placement in one words is good students became eligible from 6 Sen onwards and the highest package was 54 lakh .percentage of students of getting placement was good and my plans after getting degree is mba

One of the main thing that i liked is senior and our frnd circle.
A hint of sports facilities is also available
As we consider our teacher is also good in nature

Dislikes

Placement Experience:

Onwards 6th semester you can sit for the on campus placement. The company visited are Amazon, cred , paytm etc The avg package is good around 17lpa. Percentage should be improved as of now it around 80%.

Review for IIIT SONEPAT

Likes

It is the government college so it has its own reputation
Location of the college is suitable for me
Curriculum burden is very less and we can focus on our own skills

Dislikes

It does not have its own campus and infrastructure
Facilities are also not good of some subjects
No campus life and only one fest is conducted in a year

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students are eligible for the placements Last year approx 80 percent of the students got placed Highest package is 50 lakhs per annum last year and average package is 1200000 lakhs for cse

IIITS SONEPAT INSIGHTS

Likes

I liked the labs and curriculum of the college
Also faculty is well educated and knowledgeable
Environment around the college is also nice

Dislikes

Campus is not owned by the college it's a rented property
Hostels also I don't like its also on rent no facilities provided by the hostel

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 7th semester onwards. There are various companies which visit the college for placement like Amazon, TCS, etc. with no. of offers more than the number of students. Highest package is around 50 lakhs while average is around 9 lakhs. 70 percent students get placed. There are various job opportunities after getting the degree from this college
