IIIT Sonepat Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

On website the data provided is average placement is 16 lakhs. Well I don't think it's correct and I don't know much because only the seniors of second year live with us in the hostel. We don't have any connections with the seniors of 4th year If I get any more information regarding placements, I will update

Students are eligible for placements after the sixth semester and companies visited this year are Yamaha,nvidia and 10 students got placed in Yamaha with the package of 10lakhs per year. Students are applying for placements off campus. Actually, the placements are going on I have no idea about the highest package After completion of the degree I want to become a data scientist

From the seventh semester college allows students to sit in the placements process and also for on-campus internship. Companies like Amazon, Jio, Purple, Nevada, Yamaha, and many more give offers to many students. last year's highest package was 52 LPA average was around 15 LPA. According to last year, 70 to 80% of students are placed. I will sit in placements and then work for any industry and then I will try for MBA.

All the teachers are PHD graduate and most excel at teaching students while there are some who I think are difficulty to deal with. Faculty to Student ratio is 6:120. Teachers have traditional teaching methods and exam are conducted thrice a semester after every 1.5 - 2 months.

Placement Scenario is quite Good Amazon visited last year and offered an Internship + PPO offer to 10 students of 45 lakh. The average Package is 15 Lakh. The highest Package is 45 Lakh. We become eligible for on-campus Placements in the 7th Sem. 90% of Students were placed last year. I will take Placements.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester. The names of the companies include only a few big names and the others are generally new startups etc. The highest package offered was 55 lakhs but it was off campus, and the average package for the IT branch was 17.69 lakhs. A total of 60 percent of students were placed. My plans are to try off-campus for placements.

In the 7th semester, companies started visiting the campus for placement, Recently YAMAHA visited our college and gave no. of offers which is not yet disclosed by tnp cell. You can easily check the placement records in detail from the college website.

Information technology is a course which is in huge demand nowadays and moreover computer science was one of my fav subject during my schooling days so that prompted me to take IT. The faculty student ratio in my batch was 6:60 as in every semester there was almost 6 subjects. And every teacher had done phd degree from a Good college. Midterms were held twice in a semester followed by practical exams and endterms. easy to clear those exams.

The placements in our college are good, the TNP CELL at IIIT Sonepat works really great to provide good internship and Job opportunities. Highest package of 2019 batch was 52 lpa, and avg package for IT stayed around 17-18 lpa.

In IIIT Sonepat, students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. In the 8th semester, students don't have to study in college, they are free to join companies and industries. Right now, YAMAHA placed around 11 students at 11 LPA and the placement drive for companies is still going on. Around 80% of students get placed successfully. After degree, I will apply for placements both on-campus and off-campus
